Hehe, in Gringotts Bank guarded by goblins! :D

You probably won't need it anyway, it's just nice to know you have easy access to some cash without having to get past dragons! £50 is still enough for an emergency!

I know, I just like to think of it as untouchable, then I'll never be tempted! I also like to think of it as piles of gold in a giant vault, rather than numbers on paper and stocks and shares :D

Yay on the payrise, Cinny! And yours, Dinah - is that your annual inflation payrise or something? Every little helps and rounding up all your spending is a really good idea! Hope your First Direct account gets opened, I know it's wrong to love a bank, but I've had an account with them for about 5 years and they're amazing!

Lol, that would be a really good incentive seeing it all build up! How's your swimming challenge going, Tete?

Hehe, my brother and his girlfriend have a lot of savings and they go to the bank most Saturday mornings to move money around and check how much they've got; we always joke that they count their piles of gold! It wouldn't take me long to count my piles of gold, about 30 seconds! LOL!

It's an annual increment increase, so I move up the scale, is actually £61 per month, however they're dropping all our car allowance so the increase is the difference between what my car allowance was and my new wage. Although I think I might just use all the pay increase into savings and take the hit on my car allowance.

Farm guy still hasn't called NIM, even though he left a message. I think thats just rude (unless he got stuck under a tractor or something, then I'll let him off!)

Gosh tete, you'd best get cracking! Just push the kids out of the way! My SiL makes me laugh when she goes swimming because she just puts her head down and swims in a straight line, if someone gets in her way she'll carry on and crash into them! They soon learn to give her a wide berth!
