Think I just requested a RiSi book from Tete en l'Air!

Did some dooyoo reviews today, 5 of them. Need to parcel up 5 books and dvds to send tomorrow which sold today. Oooh and a few parcels off ebay, I forgot about those!

Currently watching trash TV while doing surveys, 'Don't tell the bride'... I don't think I've ever seen a couple less suited to one another!

  • Ha, you did! I've gone for Moon Tiger, I've wanted to read it since studying an excerpt at A-level, will get it posted off tomorrow :) We are very close actually - my friend's parents moved to your village about a year ago, it looks lovely.

Have you heard any more about this A&L account? That must feel like such a millstone around your neck, I bet all you want is to sever all ties with your ex asap and this must be hanging over you :(

(and I actually quite like the sound of those seeds wrapped in leaves :o)

I think people in our area are big readers, I've done less than 20 swaps so far and 3 have been to Billingham! Moon Tiger has 4 1/2 stars on Amazon, I've never read it but I do own 3 copies  I'm in work for the day now, but will get yours sent out tomorrow.

Lol I'm usually quite a healthy eater, however I like some meat or bread or cheese with my mountains of veggies! I was good and ate my falafel (so dry and boring!) but I couldnt get my body to swallow the greasy leaves!

I spoke to the Alliance & Leicester last night again, a fairly dopey lad with an Essex accent agreed to give me 14 days grace period while I get the sole status form into them and then I need to pay off at least £500 of the balance. Should have that much left from Octobers wages come payday, and at least it's still getting the balance down, I just wanted it off CC2 first since that ends it's 0% in March.

My cheque for credit card charge reclaiming (CC3, no current balance) was cashed last night, so hopefully should hear about the fees soon. Haven't heard anything from the other card though (CC1).

Need to go into town today to cash in my £400 from OH, and post 9 parcels that sold/swapped yesterday. Already sold one DVD this morning, and had a swap with the lovely Tete en l'Air so I'm off to a good start.

    To do list for today:

    5 Dooyoo reviews
    Post parcels
    Go to bank
Check Onepoll and answer any new polls.
    Answer questions on Ebay
Get newly sold/swapped books/DVDs out of shed and wrap
    Update Amazon list
    Update Green Metropolis list
    Check surveys and complete 10.

Phew already tired just looking at it!

Just found out you can get a £50 voucher on Qype for 50 reviews for 1000 people. OH now has himself an account to get this so im knocking up reviews for this. His proviso was that he wants the cuddly ninja this time... I'm a little concerned he won't be able to get a cuddly ninja on this offer as it says you can not get the insider kit, but doesn't mention the ninja kit.

    HI Dinah,

I've caught your thread a few times and have just got to the end. What a wonderful achievement! Down to £8000 from over £15000 - that's brilliant.

I keep putting off ebaying but reading examples like yours make me think it's worth doing. Maybe I'll have a go this weekend.

Keep going - you've come such a long way.

Thanks Urg. Ebay is slow, and for the things I'm selling I'm often only making £1 or so a go, but it all adds up and it's all clutter that I do not want in my house! At the moment I am just stockpiling listings on turbo lister ready for the next free listings day or 5p listings day (if anyone hears of one please let me know!), as then if things do not sell all I have lost is my time.

only 10 days until you see your OH again? not long! I've had to brush my oh off this weekend in favour of finding nemo on ice saturday night :o he's picking me up tonight from work so not long until I see him! Managed to get another 8 hours overtime to do at work aswell :) finally!!

Have you sold anything else on amazon or ebay today? You're doing annoyingly well, my ebay items never seem to sell! ;)

Was up this morning at 7 baking, so i've only been at work for 1 hour and i'm sleepy.. i'm almost glad there isn't any work to do today.

Ooooh what were you baking? I'm being good at the moment, lots of fruit salads and no cake even though it's a collegue's birthday. That said in truth it's just that I'm a cake purist, and I won't eat shop bought ones as I think they're plasticy!

Sold one DVD on amazon, and a comic on ebay, but the guy immediately emailed me asking him to 'let him off' paying as he thought it was a book! Have told him if he pays the final value fee and the listing fee then I will leave positive feedback etc but still bugs me, that had several watchers on it who now I have lost!

Only 9 days till I see OH now :j

I made a tea loaf, some iced buns and Twink's oaty biscuits from the OS forum. I made another tea loaf and some brownies yesterday too. Kind of cramming it all in because I wont have time to bake again until tuesday, i've kind of stockpiled my family up.
I don't like shop bought cakes either, although i used to love morrisons blueberry muffins but I OD on them and went off them when I was younger. Thankfully I enjoy baking and making other people happy with the end result rather than eating it myself (i'd be the size of a sumo if I did)

It's a bum (had to change the word for MSE!) when people do that on ebay! Have you got it sorted yet? People really need to read what they're buying more carefully!!

That sounds delicious! I love baking too, one of my mums friend's came to me at the weekend and told me her friend's farm shop has just lost the lady who does their cakes and desserts for them, would I be interested in doing it. Would love too so have asked for more info, although I think I might wear myself a bit ragged if it is every day.

No ebay not sorted yet, but I did just sell another DVD.
