Lol good for you! Unfortunately I think your business might suffer!
Anyone know how long bankrupcy lasts? A friend of mine has just told me he will be filing in Jnauary as his gf and ex wife have basically run him into the ground. Tried directing him here but he said you need good credit to be able to do all these things and there is no point. I thought it lasted 6 years but he says they changed it to 1. If bankrupcy is only 1 year why does anyone bother paying off debt?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh OK then one last post... I don't know a lot about BR but I know Martin always says it's a very, very last resort and not to be entered into lightly - can he go to the CAB for advice?

i'll go back to work now:o
Dinah have a look on the bankrupcy board it'll probably tell you in one of the stickies. I think its 6. You can get discharged after a year (altho i have no idea what that means) but i think its your credit that affected for 6 years.0 -
bankrupcy sounds scary! I have to stay away from that board. So does DFW at times!
saying that a tiny part of me loves going on peoples thread and reading the nitty gritty. Could be because I'm nosey, or the little girl who used to count her daddy's penny jar weekly coming back out.
Only got 3 things on ebay yesterday, I've had to make my dad write me a list of what everything is (I'm no plumber, i dont know which fixture is which) but I have stumbled across boxes of working shoes so I'll get them on at some point today.
Did you manage to shift anything else last night Dinah?0 -
Yep, last night was fantastic. Managed to shift £145 of stuff on ebay. £99 of that was the guitar and then 13 little things for £1-£6. Also had another readitswapit swap confirmed. So I was really good and parcelled it all up straight away to take to the post office today.
Managed to get 31 Qype reviews done yesterday, so only 19 to knock out today. Also need to go to the bank to pay in the £100 cheque off ex's mother, and need to find the address to send the single account form to for the A & L.
Have gone to 11 stars on readitswapit so requested more swaps last night, none have replied to me though! Feel like I'm running low on books, down to the last 150 in the shed.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

150! Still alot to me, I've only got about 20 books atm. (I am an embarrassment to my mother!) Well done on stuff you sold! £145 is great for a nights work :T Very pleased for you!
I can't seem to find Qype if I type it into googleI'm guessing it's something like qype.co.uk? When I put it in it came up with foreign sites, which i'm guessing it isnt! Got lots of work flooding in today, just giving myself a break with a cuppa coffee, been semi none stop since 7:30 this morning.
