Lord, It's weird coming on here to no new messages at this time in the morning!
A little work today, not much though, made myself busy with packing parcels and adding missed dates onto the calendar (St Georges Day, Queenies Birthday ect!) Hope everyone's having a more productive day than me.
Only move £7 over to savings today, still have my board and phone bill to go out for this month. Taking OH out for dinner too, most likely to a pub to boost local economy and all0 -
Just got a text from OH to say he's won £200 in the bookies  You'd think being a bookie himself he wouldn't bet seeing how much people loose! Oh well, means he can buy dinner today! It is his turn actually, I bought the last meal out thinking about it!
Sounds like a possible good match for your friends Dinah!
My friend used to gargle warm water with honey mixed in when her throat was bad, hope your voice comes back soon. How did you get on with NIMs drawing?
Any news on the hotels in Paris, Tete?0 -
NIMs drawing went suprisingly well. Cept the NIM figure in the painting looks a little like Lurch!

Morning girls, work a bit manic today
On top of eveything my boss wants a 'process map' of everything I do over the course of a year, so that won't take long. Grr.
Waiting to see whether I'll get to see OH tonight, he's supposed to be at some 'audience with the mayor' to celebrate Durham becoming one huge super-council, but he's going to try and wriggle out of it seeing as I'll be with the girls from tomorrow onwards and we won't get to see each other.
Cinny, your OH must get loads and loads of tips in working in a bookies, you'd have to have a will of steel not to have a little flutter sometimes! Hopefully he'll spend some of his winnings on you
Good luck at the denitist Dinah, it's not only the thought of potential pain these days but also the potential cost! Is your friend happy to be set up with a commitment-phobe?!
No DOTD so far, Birdie must be busy moving...
Nope, no more news on Paris hotels, might have a little look at lunchtime. I want to search by arrondissement but can't seem to find a site that lets me do that. Really want to sort the travel first before looking too hard at hotels.
*edit* I do ramble on don't I? Sorry, half my posts are longer than Dinah's and it's her thread!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Luckily it's just a check up, which is free, but I'm fairly certain he's going to want to do a filling some time soon, which is about £50.
She knows he can't commit (but he really wants to, thats the odd thing), and she seems comfortable with that.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I pay about £16 for a check up! Am I being robbed?!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I pay monthly into my insurance scheme, so I get 2 free check ups and 2 free hygenist visits a year, and any fillings and stuff are 25% reduced, basically works out at £125 a year so I doubt it!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yikes! OK well, I'm happy paying my £16 in that case! Arg, work is a nightmare today. I hate dealing with teachers, they're always teaching when you need to speak to them!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Ouch, dentists. Since I had my filling I've hated the sound of the hoover on leather *shudders*
Your friend might not really want full on commitment from the word go with the new fella, at least it gives her something to work on.
Wearing my Morkham and Wise comic relief tshirt today and the red noses are quite badly placed for comments!0 -
