Have you already put aside spending money? And money for clothes etc, or is debt-busting going to go on hold for a month?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

We're selling the two old laptops to give us our spending money. Should give us £400-£450, which I would hope would be enough! Don't really need many clothes, thinking of going up to Dalton Park one sunday and just getting a few bits in the Next outlet shop there.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ah ok, good plan. No, I always find you just wear the same things over and over on hols, for me usually the least scratchy as I'm always sunburntWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Couple of pairs of loose trousers, a few vest tops, some shirts to go over them, and a couple of dresses, sorted.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oooh, clothes shopping! Tete's right, you normally do wear the same thing on your holidays. But still, clothes shopping is clothes shopping - no matter how little you're getting. Barratts have some really nice gladiator sandles for £5 in their sale - Martin has a 10% off code as well. Just incase you're in need of some!
I'm eyeing up topshop dresses now. I'm hopeless! :rolleyes:0 -
I have some sort of warehouse outlet website on my favs list at home, but I really don't think I need many clothes, have no shorts but I prefer skirts anyway. Might try to get a long skirt to go with all my knee length ones.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

You should be ok, the shops seem to be getting their springy/summery stuff in now. Really want to get Paris booked up this month, hate not having something to focus on!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

My Ma pushed me to book the week in Cornwall to have something to look forward too, and now I'm booking more. It's addictive this going on holiday by yourself lark. Have you found any potential hotels yet, Tete?
Have you checked on Asos Dinah? they still have about 10 pages of skirts on clearance - and once again Martin has a 20% off code!0 -
Ooh all this holiday talk is lovely.
OH and I have booked five days in La Pineda in Spain in June. Very excited and got a good deal for a lovely hotel. Haven't had a summer holiday for three years, so this will be lovely. Hoping to fit back into my summer dresses, but we'll see! I do have lots of lovely comfy linen trousers though and plenty of vests so I should be fine clotheswise. Do want to change my passport to my married name though which will cost £70! Don't have to by law, but I hate having that in my maiden name when all my credit cards, driving license etc are in married name.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
That's shocking GiSi!! I'd be tempted to wait til it expired for that price!
Just been looking at Eurostar and train prices Cinny, Eurostar is grand, you can get return tickets for £59, but it's getting to London which is the expensive bit! OH was saying he'd seen a deal from Durham for £109 with 2 nights in a hotel, which is obviously brilliant, but that only gives us one full day there. I'd rather pay a bit more and do it justice, than feel as though I haven't really seen the place. Don't know whether we'd be able to wangle something with the travel agent, or whether they could do us just the travel from up north and we'll sort our own hotel or what...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
