    Stupid MSE lost my reply.

I think I'd want to do it anyway cos I'd be all sentimental. My passport doesn't expire for 5 years yet, and my photo has me looking like a wild haired drug smuggling hippy!

Good idea on Asos Cinny, is it all funky clubwear or is there long and billowy for the drug smuggling hippy over here?

Week in cornwall as well as the week in the caravan and the weekend in kent?! Lucky for some!

Nooo the week in Cornwall is the week in the caravan. I wish for 3 holidays!
There are a few ones, there's a billowy long one on page 2 (i'm such a geek for knowing) for £9ish. Would be great for sunny weather!

Thanks for the note on the Euro star Tete - Just phoned my mum to tell her about the £59 fairs, she's all excited now bless her.

Just been looking at Eurostar and train prices Cinny, Eurostar is grand, you can get return tickets for £59, but it's getting to London which is the expensive bit!

    Back to Martin!

    I'm on the ball today!
  • You have to book a bit in advance for those though Cin I think (the £59 tickets), I'm looking at end of May. Problem with that is that I can't see train fares to London that far in advance  Been looking on Thomas Cook site at package deals but a lot of the cheaper hotels seem to say things like "train to Paris every 15 mins", erm hello? I searched for PARIS! I don't want to be getting the train there on a morning! Think we might be best off booking train and eurostar deal through an agent and finding our own hotel...

Why don't you just fly Tete? Incidentally can also fly to London for £21 per person per flight.

Oh and Cinny, you are not my favourite person right now, want so much of the asos site!

  • OH has veto-ed it, he really wants to go on the Eurostar and said he won't go unless we go by Eurostar! Which I'm happy with too. Been looking more in depth and the Eurostar site says they do through fares from Durham to Paris from £85 return - ace! - but when I try searching for our dates I just get a blank screen, oh wah! Might have a look on asos instead!! :D

Personally I'd rather have an extra couple of days in paris than spent travelling. Is he scared of flying?

I can't find any long skirts on there under £30 (don't even bother looking over this!)

  • No not at all, just fancies it and like I say I'm happy to do it too. If I can get the Eurostar site to work I think £85 rtn from up here is fab (and 4% Quidco ;)), and leaves us with a pretty good budget for a hotel too.

    Morning all, very quiet today.

Very pleased it's Friday, give a chance to rest my voice. Loved going home early last night, just curled up in bed and watched supersize vs superskinny while doing some sketches for NIMs painting of the month, but it felt blissful. Plus NIM brought me some green and blacks ice cream home, perfect evening!

Managed to get one of my ex's to be free next week when I meet the friend with the insanely long list. He's a complete gentleman, good looking, very funny, but not great at the whole commitment thing and painfully inexperienced. She's had a crush on him since I met him, so we'll see if it is a catestrophic failure or not!

Work is driving me batty today, its impossible to get 6 people all free on the same day!
