OOh which Jodie Picoult? Have you read 'My Sisters Keeper'? If not excellent book. Think they are making it into a film.

Yep that was the first one I read I think. Have read a few now, think this one is called 'Mercy', its about a man who suffocated his wife at her request as she had terminal cancer and was in pain. I love how every one of her books addresses a moral dilema and thoroughly goes into it from both perspectives. Really want to get some more of hers on readitswapit but will be good till the new year (late christmas pressie to myself ;) ) with any that haven't sold by then.

46 hours to go till OH gets here

6 weeks and a day to go :xmassmile

    I'm all happy and excited!

He lands at 4.05 I can leave work from 3.30 on a Friday so should be able to get to Teesside airport just in time provided no one else is on the road!

I love Christmas, my first ever job was as one of Santa's elves! Had to wear a very short skirt for that one though, not sure who got more of a treat, the kids or the dads! ;)

Today is a great day for earning money.

So far today I have transfered the £99.60 (rounded up to £100) amazon payment into my ISA for paying off CC2. I have also transfered the £7 mazuma cheque that has cleared in my account. A collegue has said she is interested in buying my ipod mini which is great as I was about to send it to BananaGreen for recycling. I have a big bag full of things to post that sold on Ebay, and i'll have another bag tomorrow, I just couldn't carry it all! I have completed 50p of onepoll surveys, and have 5 other surveys in my inbox to do today.

And to top it off OH arrives tomorrow for 4 days! I'm in a very, very good mood.

Oh but on the downside £98 more in fees have been applied to the joint account, which should have been in my name by now and this wouldnt be happening if it wasn't for the ex's refusal to sign off  Going to write his mother another letter as I'm not willing to pay this extra money out due to his uselessness.

Sounds like your having a great day money making wise, but how annoying about your ex  he shouldnt be allowed to get away with it. I would definatly write to his mother again, why should this little boy be allowed to ruin your future with your OH!!! It has made me angry and its not even me its happening to :o
On the otherhand i hope your good luck money making wise continues!!
Hope you have a good day x

    Same to you flower!

Oh he's completely irresponsible, it was her who paid me half of the overdraft to cover his half on the idea that I then close it down. Instead it's still there decimating my credit rating. He's well and truely gotten away with it but daft as this sounds I'm more concerned what he's doing to his new gf, as the photos ive seen of her she's so happy and 'new' looking, and I hate the idea he's gradually eroding some other girl's confidence and self worth. But hey, she'd never listen to that from me, she'd think I was jelous. It's horrible how women automatically think other women generally are a threat as opposed to an ally.
