I don't think Easter Egg chocolate has any fat in it, though, does it?!!!!!

Surely not, it's hollow therefore can't possibly have calories...

Sorry about your job Lara, hope there's more work around the corner!

Pilchard, eat asmany Easter Eggs as you like, they're good for you... they are eggs after all!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Get the GHDs! :D

My hair is a pain to tame, really frizzy and thick, but the GHDs make it all lovely and shiney in one go (had to use my old straighteners about 3 times over to get it looking half as good) plus it lasts where as my hair used to be frizzy again by the afternoon. If you can afford them, get them!

    That's my 2 cents anyways.

Lara - Sorry about the job, hopefully something better will come along for you soon!

    Hey Tete

I wanted good straighteners but couldn't afford the full whack for GHDs. I checked the thread on Grabbit, or Shop but don't drop (can't quite recall). Everyone was recommending these Babyliss ones as cheaper alternatives -

I can testify they are very good and I use them every other day. I got them half price in Argos. Think they are well worth checking out ....

On a crap note the p/t 2nd job I got just called me up and sais actually they have no work for me now. Pretty skilled to get let go before I even started!! Oh well....

Aw i've got those too, they are brilliant, even for me miss cack handed!:p Think I paid £35 in argos when they were on offer

  • Thanks for the recommendations girls, I went for the GHDs in the end - it IS birthday money after all. I used £10 of dooyoo money and got the free trial of the one-day delivery so should get them by Saturday for free. Student discount didn't work though, but still £85 for them isn't bad. I'm terrible with this moneysaving- can't rest until I know I'm getting the best deal possible. I just clicked on some survey thing on Facebook for the chance to win some Uggs, then I realised I don't even like them! It's just the word FREE draws me in!

Oh Lara, what a shame about the job, that's a pretty crappy thing of them to do. Hopefully though it's because everything happens for a reason and something loads better is round the corner for you.

Pilchard, I agree with Birdie, I'm sure Easter Eggs have the same nutritional value as normal eggs... scoff without guilt!!

I'm tring to work out how to get to three stars... I'm sure I'm close if CMD has three, maybe after 700 posts? I can't remember the other milestones. I prefer stalwart to fan though, it's a good word :)

Poor old Dinah and NIM will only just be sitting down to their tea, she'll have wasted away! I'm here in my jim jams (no naked posting tonight) all cosy and ready for bed :)
