I'm hungry now, and still about 5 hours until I get to eat..... not sure I can hold out that long! Only have a yoghurt here (won't satisfy me, need carbs!) so options are a) stay hungry b) go buy a sandwich at sainsburys c) get a sandwich or panini at the gym (about £1 more, but much tastier and healthier). Hmmmm.....

I've never had a dirty dream about anyone famous, I think that's a bit odd....

Get a sandwich before the gym because you don't want to go to your MS Meal too full!

My dirty dream was the first I've had since I was a hormonal teenager! Normally I dream about really prosaic stuff like work, really exciting!

I am going for the not too full route by just eating my yogurt, NIM has told me if he's not there by 8.50pm to just order something for him. If he's not there by 9pm I might have eaten it for him too....

LOL! Reminds me of the time I lost OH in the club house one saturday after rugby, I found him finishing off his second plate of food as he'd got 2 plates so I could have something to eat and was so hungry after eating his he had mine too!

  • Well another busy day for me, took son horse riding up the lakes with tesco vouchers so minus the petrol that was a free day out. I still have to finish packing as I'm off to Glasgow for the weekend for SiLs hen night. Plus I havn't planned my lessons for next week, I will have to do them tonight or else I will have to do them on Sunday night while feeling rough as toast after burning my candle at both ends. I could also do with list/ relisting on ebay but at this rate I going to up until 3am.

    Hey Tete

I wanted good straighteners but couldn't afford the full whack for GHDs. I checked the thread on Grabbit, or Shop but don't drop (can't quite recall). Everyone was recommending these Babyliss ones as cheaper alternatives -

I can testify they are very good and I use them every other day. I got them half price in Argos. Think they are well worth checking out ....

On a crap note the p/t 2nd job I got just called me up and sais actually they have no work for me now. Pretty skilled to get let go before I even started!! Oh well....

  • I have GHDs and Daughter has Babyliss ones (just because thay are pink) thay are both very good. I bought some tiny travel ones once but they were pretty poop. I long as they have ceramic plates you can't go far wrong.

Sorry about the 2nd job Lara, I don't think this has been your week hon. Hopefully something great will happen at the weekend to turn it around.

Oh Lara, that's a shame :( I know how difficult it is to get a job at the moment. It's so frustrating as I was just starting to make headway with my debts and now it's ground to a halt.

But I agree with Dinah - chin up, and hope next week is a bit better!

Hello girls (and NIM - nice to meet you finally!)

Haven't been on here for a few days and seems like I've missed loads. I've done a review on dooyoo cos I've decided if I want to buy and cd's or dvd's I'm going to earn the voucher money (and I REALLY want the new U2 cd). I'm trying to persuade my boyfriend (Clothed Yorkshire Man) that he needs to do the same but don't think it'll happen). I also did something that I'd been considering for ages and that was sending a letter to Northern Rock about being mis-sold a PPI. I used Martin's templates cos NR told me I couldn't have the interest rate they offered unless I took the PPI out. Fingers crossed it works.

Dinah, well done on joining the gym. I'm going on holiday in a couple of weeks and have put loads of weight on. Doesn't help that I've found Easter Eggs at £1 a go at the moment so have bought all the ones I need ..........plus a few more  I don't think Easter Egg chocolate has any fat in it, though, does it?!!!!!

Anyway, all have a good evening. I'm off to pretend I've really busy when OH comes home! :rotfl:
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

I got some Mark Hill ones (because the plates are pink!) and they're fab too if we're talking cheap GHD alternatives, but £80 sounds like a good deal if you want GHDs!
