I'm 5'6" (and a bit!) and slimish so with 3" heels and sucky-inny undies it should look OK, I think!

I've already got my MSE head on and looking at getting it shipped over from China, I'd rather spend £200 than £2000!

I've heard of those companies, I would be terrified it wasn't to my exacting standards though!

Does strapless work on anyone?! I thought bustier was for the bustless! I need straps to give support and be comfortable enough. Strapless just cuts into me and gives me creepy dual boobs.

LOL! Whenever I've looked at bustiers they stick out too far for my little bust so you just see a lot of air between it and me! I also hate the idea of being squashed into an uncomfortable dress all day too, I'd rather wear an empire line with lots of room to grow after pigging out on my curry buffet!;)

I'm a bit wary but my Mum's a good seamstress (she made her own wedding dress but is a bit out of practice now!) and she'd be able to do any alterations that need doing. Even if I took it to a professional to be altered after it arrived it would still work out cheaper. A few women on MSE have had dresses from China and most have been very impressed with the weight and quality of the fabric and the good workmanship. Even if the seam pops when you're taking it off, who cares, you're not going to wear it again!

Lol (not to go back too the whole Big/Aidan debate from friday) but did you ever see Charlotte's dress when she married Harry, beautiful cream lace overdress, I loved that, pretty much my ideal dress.

I would be more concerned if they used cheap harsh materials, especially the lace tbh, as can't fix this!

Oooh, yeah, that was lovely! Badgely Mischka if I remember correctly! The closest I'll get to one of their dresses is if I buy the Barbie they brought out a few years ago!:rotfl:

lol! I just like the fact that it wasn't a huge meringue, she could move easily in it, and the lace was beautiful. Oh, and it had straps, a must in my world!

I don't know about that, I'll have to do some research! I've heard such good things that I can't really imagine they use cheap rubbish, it's just cheap because of where it comes from

If that's the case then it's a fantastic bargain, I'd certainly vote for the MS option if the quality wasn't going to suffer!
