I'm off to read the thread about it on the weddings board now...

  • I'd be wary of an internet wedding dress to I have to say, if only because about 20% of anything I've bought on the net has actually fit me. I fancy a high halterneck as that's a flattering style on me, but the fashion does seem to be strapless or low (cleavage) halternecks. I wore a strapless bridesmaid dress a few years ago and spent the whole day hoiking it up :( That said, the only time I've ever actually flashed anyone was at another wedding in a dress with straps, but a very low back so no bra, went to give the groom a hug and the strap slipped and he got an eyeful of my left boob!

Yey, just got another MS for Sunday, nice fee too, £10 and £1 reimbursement, so now we're up to £34 for Sunday's shops. Would love to get this up further though. 5 days to grab some more.

  • I know, they're divorced now actually though I don't think that contributed to it! They split about 10 months after the wedding, I was half tempted to ask for the purple glass bowl back, it was rather nice!

You're a MS machine Dinah. I don't think I'm observant enough for all that to be honest, just potter about in my own little world. Whenever we hear some plinky-plonky piano music OH says "This is what plays in your head", and he's not too far off the mark really!

I'm in my own little world generally too, so I really like the meal ones as I get to take someone else with me, and if I forget a bit I can ask them!

MS is the best way to make extra money atm,or to save money on what we would normally spend.

Just worked out what I think NIM will have to go into an ISA after he's paid off everything he owes on my CC for the car, holiday etc, and paid off my CC2 as was the plan, it's gonna be under £500 I think. Yeah, we're never going to make 3k in 45 days!

He really liked his tai chi today, hopefully he'll be all zen when I tell him our savings plan is up the creek without a paddle!

Oh now if it was FOOD related, I'd remember it then! :p

So what are you doing - trying to fill 2 existing ISAs before THIS tax year ends? Is one full and the £500 extra? Don't get too hung up on getting it in this tax year, you can always keep filling it after April, although of course the sooner it goes in, the more interest you can earn on it...

I don't know what I'm trying to say there... you obviously want to put the maximum in now so you can put the maximum in again for 2009-10... Have you any leeway on a 0% OD or anything? I shouldn't really be saying that I don't think... If NIM hadn't moved overwould you have been looking at trying to fill 2 ISAs before your DFD? If not, then try not to worry about it.

Sorry, think my mind is getting cold-addled, I need an early night!

We can certainly have one full, we'd just like to make the most of the tax free allowance since we're planning on having these savings for the next two years or so to use on the house deposit. I'm considering the option of applying for a 0% card to bounce the balance to again if accepted, then we'd have both filled and some left over to pay onto the CC, just not enough to clear it (well clear my part anyway, CC2 contains nearly 2k of mums debt too)

Dont beat yourself up too much about not filling the second ISA, just think how far you have come!! Especially with NIM coming over! Good idea about applying for the 0% CC, so you think you would get one?
