It's just like the 10 second rule, if something falls on the floor and you pick it up within 10 seconds it has no germs on it.

In our house it's the 3 second rule, obviously I've been too cautious! :rotfl:

Same here - three second rule. If you feel it's been there a few seconds too long, then if you blow on it that gets rid of the germs as well :D

Didn't know that about the calories falling out the biscuits though! What a revelation! What I'll do in future is drop the packet on the floor before I open it and I'll be safe!

Oooh, ow ow ow! I felt amazing after my pilates yesterday and I can't move this morning! It's all those little repetitious moves that you don't notice at the time that get you. Even my ribs are aching - I thought that was just skin and bone but apparently not! On the plus side my throat is marginally better :o

Poor Tete! I'm starting to believe that my preferred exercise is the best: with your right arm raise your coffee cup to your mouth, sip and slowly drop arm. Raise left arm and nibble the biscuit that *just happens* to be in your hand. slowly drop arm. Do this cycle for 10 repetitions or until coffee cup empty. If biscuit runs out before the coffee, replace with new biscuit. :coffee:

Lol really enjoying the creative exercising and dieting going on in here this morning!

I feel fantastic this morning, would swear I already look slimmer!

Got MS meal this evening for date night then NIM wants me to go to Tai Chi, have agreed on the proviso he tries pilates on Sunday, which he agreed to. Least there are men in my class, his apparently is all 80 year old women who fawned all over him!

Have asked mum to call up and see if she can get NIM and I a couple of these free theatre tickets, we're in Darlington on a MS and there is a show I would like to see in a few weeks so might as well make a full (cheap) date night out of it. There is also one this Saturday, but I think NIM is working.

Ebay have told me if I get one more negitive feedback I'm banned. I think this is disgraceful, I have got 2 negitive feedback in 7 years, and over 950 positive feedback, they just both happened to be in the same month! And sellers have absolutely no comeback. And I'm fairly certain I will get another one as the little computer refurbisher guy hasn't had his chance to whinge yet.

Nearly cracked the £10 mark for our first Dooyoo voucher, has gone a lot slower than planned, think I will try to get a load done this weekend, and just post them up throughout the week.

That's terrible Dinah! I haven't sold anything on ebay for ages but I'm being put off after all the bad stuff you've had happen to you! It really seems like the seller is automatically at fault now which isn't fair, you need the chance to defend yourself!

On a lighter note, free theatre tickets sounds good! :T

Lol NIM made his own to do list today, and has done none of it and has sat watching top gear or whatever with my dad who is off with his knackered back for 4 hours, if I hadn't rung he'd still have been doing it when I got home at 5pm! This is why I nag, he NEEDS to call his old college, and if he wants to go to tai chi he should have done that too! Plus things like putting the wardrobe together. He made himself a to do list this morning, and he's forgotten most of it, how he can mock me for writing lists amazes me!

Was looking forward to that in a small way, I love the theatre. Apparently it's an initiative until 2011, so hopefully will get some on the next round

  • Haha, my list-writing gets mocked too. OH always makes fun saying they list things like 1) Breathe in 2) Breathe out 3) Wash face 4) Brush teeth... Which they clearly don't! I'm obviously just a lot busier than him the lazy sod (Ah bless, I shouldn't say that, he IS working on his dissertation).

That is shocking from ebay that they'd let you lose 900 positives for the sake of two moaners. I keep thinking about having a big clearout (Not getting around to it quite yet...) and I think I'll just put everything in the charity rather than have all that hassle for a couple of quid. Just think though, you'll soon be DF and won't need to deal with them anymore!

Hehe, I can just imagine all the Helen Daniels types all over NIM with his sexy accent! My great aunty Elsie had a go at my boyfriend at Christmas, grabbing him for a big smacker "Oooh, aren't you lovely?!" Poor OH being assaulted by a 90 year old!!
