Hey Dinah
im another one that has subscribed to your thread, your determination is really pushing me forward at a time when I feel very deflated
Just wanted to say well done and keep it up, and remember that as much as im sure your diaries helping you it really is helping the people that read it too!

I just read the start of your diary it sounds so romantic! Good luck with getting debt free:)0

Thanks Dex and Christie22
He's infected me with the romance bug I swear! Before I thought romance was an outdated concept, but he's inpired me to become the biggest sop there ever was! I think I scared even myself on his birthday.
Managed to get 5 ebay listings done, wrapping my 13 parcels took so long! Literally, 2 hours! Have also packaged up my mobile for mazuma, hoping they dont count it as broken as the battery is dead, but I can't find the charger. At any rate, it'd be £3 which is better than clutter.
Also did 39 tracks on slice the pie earning me a staggering £1.95 (roll on 3 stars, 2p more per track!). Was going to do a few more this morning to wake me up while I got dressed for work, but I couldn't get it to log in. Kept saying it couldn't validate my login. Have you been able to log in okay Cinny?
Such a dismal day, but I am cheered that the 8 week deadline on files now arriving on my desk is for boxing day! I love Christmas, but I'm a bit stressed I haven't finished my Christmas shopping yet. Still need some bits for OH and his family.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I had trouble logging in once, had the same validation thing popped up, but it sorted itself out. I've only got about £1 on my account (1 star!) I go on it with all the best intentions but they keep on giving me techno-rave stuff and it's just like 'nooo, not again!!'
Good luck with your christmas shopping! I had an awful time getting my OH's parents present. I didn't have a big budget but I wanted to make an impression (first christmas n'all) OH got sick and tired of me asking 'will they like this?!'
Good job on the 13 parcels! Must of been a relief to sort the last one
Right, I best get back to my work load! I keep on putting it off and chatting to the office dog (an actual dog, I'm not being rude!) who's just snoring back at me.0 -
You have a dog in your office?! That's relaxed, is it a creative firm? We finally were allowed to get a real plant so we could stop polishing the plastic one....
I used to work at a museum, had real plants on every windowsill. Once a month I had to get a can of plant wax and go and polish every plant. Not so bad on the big waxy leaved plants but the ferns were a nightmare!
You should come off the 1 star at about 100 reviews, and I think the payment about doubles then. Got an email back to say they had fixed the login issue so will do some more tonight as nothing has sold so nothing to parcel up.
Have some ideas for OH, would tell you what I'm going to do but he reads this sometimes so I can't! His parents, well yesterday was his dads birthday and his two sons spend 40euros on chocolate for him, so I'm thinking I don't need to try too hard to be inventive! His mum I want to impress though. But she has style and taste so as long as I stay clear of the £1 shops I should be fine!
Just made up a list of all the survey sites I find reliable for someone who asked me, anyone know if I'm allowed to post it in my thread? Just thought it might help people.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We're a plumbing contractors, it's a family firm so it's quite relaxed! She's a dogue de bordeaux so acts as 'guard dog' but mainly just sleeps. The old admin had plants, which when she left the estimator (they didn't get along) took it upstairs and I think I'm right if I say he killed it. To be fair I'd swap the dog for some plants, far less smelly!
40 euros on chocolate?! *does mental currency converter* that's alot of cadburys I could work my way through! Boots have some really nice sets in for christmas, you could get your OH some bits to make up the 3?
I best get working towards the 100 mark! I'll sit myself down with a mound of biscuits and a cuppa after work and get to it.0 -
I was doing it last night while writing on here, reading other threads and doing ebay sales and the packages. It's funny when MSE is a guilty pleasure because I should be doing something! I actually got an alright bunch of artists last night, lot of indie and acoustic although there was a little rap and R & B thrown in there which all sounds the same to me! Interestingly I even got an Elvis Presley song - is this some sort of control song to see if you really know anything about music?! If so I think I might be booted as I gave it 6/10 as I described it as having strong vocals but dated and unimaginitive!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sometimes I feel like asking my boss (my dad!) to block MSE on here. He knows full well me and the other office lady have a click about when there isn't anything else to do. Almost emptied all my trays now, forgot I need to leave some hanging over for tomorrow (never get much post, phone calls or paperwork on a friday)
haha, I didn't know they did that! I had one track abit ago, I thought it was my old friends music so I left a bad(ish) review turns out *ahem* i was wrong. I hope they humored it!0 -
I live on MSE in the day time, but then I have so little work to do it's unreal. But our budget is healthy this year as we met our housing figures, next year though might be iffy. I'm working up the courage to go to the post office on my lunchbreak, still very cold and damp. Have to go out though as today is my monthly 'treat' of getting my eyebrows waxed. Not sure how treat-like waxing is but it makes me feel better.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
