    Good morning all.

Feeling a bit more upbeat today, OH will be back in 9 days, getting closer! Got a £23.?? payment from quidco into my bank today, rounded it up to the nearest £1 as usual, and it's gone into the ISA, so will take that off the sig now.

Had awful nightmares again last night, so when I woke up at about 5am I spent nearly an hour listing things on ebay before I was calm enough and bored enough to go back to sleep - now that's dedication to the cause :p

Had lots of people pm me asking for the quidco freebie links that I had found, and for the survey sites that I use. Going to draw up a nice neat word document with it all in this afternoon I hope, ooooh, or a spreadsheet. Then I can track the surveys I do, the date, the ammount paid etc. I think my mom is getting a little worried about my newfound spreedsheet addiction!

I was suprised to be honest how many people seem to be reading the thread, it's nice to have gotten so many supportive pm's saying I've been an encouragement. Hopefully the one thing that does come across is that I don't think it is easy for most people to get debt free, it does require a concious lifestyle change. Yes, I can not wait for a time when I can go home after work and be able to read my book on an evening instead of thinking 'nope, have only 5 days left of 5p listing on ebay, and about 600 items to sell!' and doing that instead, but for now I am prepared to give myself 100% to debt busting so I can have the future that I want, as in the long run if I can crack this now I will have a lifetime of having the freedom of reading my book on an evening or going out for dinner and a movie with OH on a weekend, and this lesson will be one that will always stay with me.

    Hi happytogetdebtfree,

your diary is actually on my subscriptions list! Just had a bit of a catch up now. Grats on the new job, and that's a big ebay sale! I currently have 105 items on there, of which 6 have bids, and about 35% have watchers, which with 8 days to go till the next auction ends I have a total of £6.95 that will sell! Congrats on the immenant wedding - have you set a date?! I wish my money was going to a happy savings for wedding place rather than on debts, but give it time i'm sure I'll be in a brighter place.

I think I'm getting low on 'big' lump sums to come in, all I can think of is I am trying to reclaim cc charges (waiting for the letter telling me what charges I have incurred) but I don't expect that to be much if I get it. I'm dreading an ombudsman hold being put on that too, and I am expecting it to be honest, especially if the court case retrial thingy on bank charges goes the banks way this time.

Just think, it's less than a year till you're married to your perfect guy, without coming over too hallmark and having little flowers sprout up as i walk and birds twitter around my head, that's a once in a lifetime event that kinda eclipses the debt. When you're on your death bed you'll think of the wedding and your marriage, but I doubt you'll remember the debt. Ofc paying it off is vital to that! Grief, I really could kill OH for turning me into this simpering romantic idiot, although he still jokes I'm hard as nails and he's the romantic one.

I don't actually have a DFD as it entirely depends on how much I make per month from my additional earnings and dealings. Technically I'm sure it would be around a year away still, but personally I will be gutted if it isn't done by 31st March, and my latest target is valentines day as a wish list target.

Total left to clear is £8338 out of the original £15855 as it stood in August. So clearing at a fair pace but sooner or later I'm going to run out of things to sell! Keep getting more and more inventive with ways to clear it. Although £1600 of this debt isnt actually mine, and I am considering removing it from my total. Told myself if I got 50% of the way to being debt free by 25th Nov I would remove it, which means another £410 to clear in exactly 3 weeks.
