Ooh, I'm getting a new bag for my birthday off OH!!
I hate this one I've been using as it's far too small and doesn't fit on my shoulder comfortably so I can't wait! It is this one:

Self service in Boots? Lol we don't have that in my little market town, I'm always amazed they have tills not a cashbox under the counter!
Think the nearest they have this is the Metro Centre? I guess the girls on the till can try scanning them all and see what happens...
OK, I'm off, wish me luck!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
ooooh, what a bag! Had to click off quickly though, before spending Cinny came out for a look.
Have fun in boots! I think I've been to the Metro Centre, don't they have a rollercoaster inside or something?0 -
Ooooh pretty bag Tete. I like it very much, except for the flower, but I'm not a chirpy flowery girlie girl. Today I look like a tailored version of the grim reaper. Grey pinstripe wide leg trousers, black chiffon ruffle blouse, left the long almost black hair loose, patent pointy heels and bright red lipstick. It's all camoflauge cos I've been ill so long I haven't been able to get my eyebrows done and the girl is off today so can't get smartened until tomorrow!
Yeah I'll see what vouchers my card throws out at me, and see what that gets me. If I can get any good ones, or ones for Olay I might spend a bit more as my moisturiser is very low and I lost the lid!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I wish I had clothes like that for work! I just wear my everyday skirts and dresses to work, I look like Kate Nash only a bit more muted.
My stomach is starting to grumble so I might grab my note book and take an early lunch. Try and think of some money making ideas.0 -

Oooh Spending Cinny sounds like an evil villain, complete with mask, cape and horrible scar.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

She is! Although she has amazing shoes.
:rotfl:
Ooh yey, I love my lovely bag too!! :T I'm not sure about the flower either but it comes off. I prefer the charm things on some of the other styles and have instructed OH to attempt a swap, so we'll see if the naughty boy in him comes out!
Metroland is joined onto the Metro Centre Cinny, and does indeed have a (small) rollercoaster. I've never been on it actually and I love rollercoasters - should have put it on my 30 by 30 list!
I sometimes make the effort at work and put a dress on or something, but then I sit in my little office with two others and never see any members of the public or anything, so mostly end up in trousers and a top and cardi. I like to dress up a bit for work though, makes me feel conscientious!
Spendy Lucy didn't come out in Boots after all. I got some No7 lip balm thing with my £5 voucher so only spent about £3 on that, then resisted R&M because it's like 10 quid for one eyeshadow, which I need like a hole in the head. Bought a birthday pressie and a couple of Soap and Glory bits (Damn dooyoo putting ideas into my head!!) Did buy a meal deal though so that's a slapped wrist. OK, no more spending til end of Feb :rolleyes:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Soap and Glory stuff is lovely! What did you get? I have a terrible additcion to that stuff, I've got a shoe box full, plus a grab bag stuffed full and 5 pots and sprays on my dresser  not to mention the bits in the bathroom. Still, I got it all for christmas!
Ahh, I had it right then! My sister went on the rollercoaster but I felt unsure of it so opted to get lost on the way to waterstones instead.
I don't see why they wouldn't do a swap. If not I'm sure you'd be able to buy another one you prefer. Or your OH might, it is your birthday present after all :A0 -
I have a reputation for three things in the office, having a good sense of style, a desk with an unintelligable filing system, and making amazing cakes. Can't let them down so like turning up snazzy and getting compliments (shallow, me?!).
Didn't make it to Boots today, that's tomorrows excursion. Today I went to get envelopes for ebay things (£6.30 for 23!) post my parcels (£9) and the art shop to get card, brushes, a craft knife and a wierd fancy pattern hole punchy thing (£24). Can kind of rationalise it's all planned for and all goes towards the money making....
Came back and 12 of my product suggestions at Dooyoo have all been approved, whcih is great, now have a weeks worth of stuff to write about! Going to see if I can sneak in a suggestion for this wierd yoghurt I have for lunch now, they only seem to approve suggestions on a Monday. Then Tuesday it's crowns day apparently, what do they do the rest of the week?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
