Hey Ladies
Just been applying for part time jobs myself too. Done 6 so far, but the forms take so long, and I never know what rubbish to put in the personal statement! Dinah - get your OH to look on the careers websites for any Universities you have nearby. Where I am the sites are great and have some well paid legal related work by the hour. Good luck to him.
Bye!

That's really good to know Lara, I'll set him on looking for that, we were both very surprised that that kind of work might be available. Fingers crossed on your job hunt too.

Well done on pushing your inner cynic out the door!
Went in the garage after tea, looked through a box of DVDs and CDs grabbed afew and put them on musicmagpie, has anyone used it before? bit wary of sending them off and not getting a cheque!0 -
No, I've read a few people have though and its fine, it just tends to take double the amount of time they say it will to get paid!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hmm, I'll give it a whirl! Better than sitting in the garage. Plus they are the type of DVDs that are so cheap on amazon there isn't any point selling them there.
Right, that's the musicmagpie thing done, now putting my old phones on envirofone. Should I feel this attached to bits of metal I haven't used / can't work?!0 -
Just had about 3 frantic calls from OH. Wandering around trying to find the last twilight book! He finally found a copy from asda and didn't think he had enough for it. For a tiny second I honestly thought that the crazed person possessing my boyfriends body was going to shove it in his jacket and run. Thankfully it was £6.50 and he's home dry with a cuppa. I think I've created a monster.0
