Apparently Barclaycard have credited me £114, about 25% of what I asked for. Roll on stroppy 'thanks for the partial settlement, now cough up the rest' letterDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Just a thought, does anyone know if any of the survey sites or ipoints or anyone pay in Dell vouchers? Been wanting a new laptop for ages since mine is so knackered, but I can't justify spending £700 or so, but if I could make say half of that from somewhere else, that would be fantastic.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Went back to Monsoon and got 12 items in the €5 sale. Got all fairly pretty embroidered or patterned skirts and dresses, non black so should photograph well for Ebay. So that's what I have to do by next Sunday, list those see if I can make a few pennies. All of them were over €60 individually originally, so hopefully will recoup my outlay.

Bleh, I know the feeling! Got all my clothes, food and bag ready for the morning so I don't have to give it a second thought until then.
The dresses sound lovely! Wish there was such a good sale near me. Are you flying back home tonight?0 -
Yup. My ears still hurt from last time and now my sinuses are blocked up, I don't think this will be a comfortable plane flight.
I've never seen such a good sale, I went back yesterday and they had added a second rail, although all the fancy silk dresses like the one I got the day before had gone. Still got some nice things I think.
Anyone done any RiSi swaps the last few days? On two occassions someone has requested to swap with a book that already swapped days or weeks ago.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Great list Tete, any idea what you are going to start with?
Erm, maybe the massage one hehe! Actually, might see if there are any mechanics courses starting in January that I might be able to enrol on at the last min... I can add that to my list of things to do. Yours was inspiring there Dinah, might have to take a long lunch break tomorrow to rush around doing a few bits. Might have to include looking in Monsoon as well - I thought my £60-reduced-from-£120 dress was a bargain last year! (No 2007, year before last - eek!)
I've done a RiSi swap, nothing unusual to report. OK, off to check my bank account to see if that £460 has gone in over the last couple of days - if not, 'chase incompetent fools at Nationwide' will be added to my to-do list
Oh yuk, work tomorrow... I think I've forgotten what I actually do...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Lol. I've had my bath and I'm all ready for work, going to get an early night see if I sleep better in my own bed. Feeling too yukky to be productive tonight.
This was Irish Monsoon mind, might not be such an awesome rail here! Unpacked them all today and I'm even happier with them than when I bought them, although it is very tempting to keep one of the dresses, might have a try on!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think you can allow yourself one teensy treat! I find them quite hit and miss TBH, a lot of the stuff I find quite middle-aged, but it's worth a look if they're selling stuff for a fiver! Sweet dreams everyone, I'm off to try and find my car park pass for tomorrowWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hi Dinah,
I have been reading your diary for a while. You are amazing, you are so focused. Wish I was like you.
Do you buy a lot of things new from shops and sell on ebay, im always a bit worried I will lose money? What do you find sells well on ebay and what doesn't?
Sorry for all the questions.
Tasha
I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!0
