The ultimate incentive to get debt free, can I do it by New Years?

I have a love hate relationship with the telly, I love it in winter, all the period dramas, christmas specials, one off BBC movies. But in the summer I'd rather be sat on our garden patio reading a book, or eating some good food with my family than watching re-runs.
Going to gut my room friday after work, and do some ebaying on saturday as OH is working this weekend, try and make afew extra ££ to put towards his birthday present.0 -
Haven't tried the banana thing, but last week was pure insomnia, this week is sore throat and cold meaning I can't lie down, and don't think it is going to stop the cough!
OH is back on looking for jobs over here, think his dad is driving him mad, he blatently treats the two sons completely differently and OH is too nice and gets walked all over. Most of me really wants him here, but there is still that little voice that says 'he's too young, it can't go anywhere, falling for him is crazy, tell him to stay in Ireland'. But hey if I listened to all the little voices I'd go crazy!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm going to try to do 10 ebay things a day this week, as I am so impressed by how these ones have gone. Going to do the Monoon things this evening I think.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Blimey! Good luck with that one!
I'd love to be able to do mam tor as a 'leisure' walk again. I was reading a walking magazine yesterday and it's got me all hyped up for it again. Pass me a flask of tea, my walking boots and I'll be on my way!0 -

I'm wanting to get him a laptop, his is on its last legs. I know it seems alot but it's his 21st so I'd like to spoil him if it's possible! Plus he did get me a TV for christmas and taking me away for a weekend in bakewell for my birthday so I'd feel abit mean if all I got him was a cake and card. Although I'm sure he'd love it.0

Might mean living on a tight budget for awhile but he's worth it! (My inner cynic is cringing at that) I'll have to get back into STP to fund it alittle too. Planning on taking my dad with me when I go an buy it, he has the haggling gift (like most fathers!)0
