Ooooh what was your latest challenge Lemon Tree? Hope you hit it

Have now received payment for all my ebay finished items, as well as selling another 3 games and a book on amazon. Took OH out for a meal last night, the first he has ever let me pay for, a concept restaurant where you order a few 'starters' instead of one big meal. Was a nice idea but i only ordered 2 and there was no way I could finish them both, portion sizes were huge! Only cost £30 tho, which is much cheaper than Pizza Express last weekend which we went to for a 'cheap' meal with a voucher! :o

Have done very little today as I developed a migrane late last night, which woke me up at 4am fully formed and very painful. Thought it was just the flu last night when I felt stiff and groggy as I had a flu jab yesterday and I didn't think I was reacting well to it. Incidentally hasanyone had this and is it normal to have a huge red rash where the needle went in?!

For the first time in forever all my bank balances are positive, after already paying out the £200 to my grandad I pay out every payday. It's nice logging on the internet banking and seeing this line of 5 'C's after my accounts as opposed to the 3 'C's and 2 'D's I'm used to. However I finished the month £500 off the end of my overdraft. As the overdraft is entirely 0% due to a wierd graduate loan date mix up, I'm thinking of transfering the £500 to the ISA to pay off CC2, and do the same every 25th with whatever was left over from last month. Does that sound sensible?

Well I didn't think about that one long! Have transfered the £500 left over from last month, as well as £140, £100 is my usual payment to CC1 which now being clear can go to CC2 and £40 is my usual car insurance payment which I won't have this year due to having paid it all off in one go. :j

Almost exactly £500 left until I'm halfway to being DF. Will take mums total off mine if I manage to hit my challenge of getting halfway to being DF by 25th November.

Is that your first flu jab? I've been having them for nearly 20 years and I've never had a rash develop, mine are always just sore for a couple of days and then it wears off.

I would see how it goes if I were you and go to the doctor if it's still there in a couple of days.

the challenge was to get my debt below my salary, and i have managed it and done better than i thought.
Unfortunately a CC decided to take my debit card payment and a DD in the same month, but can't find the DD payment on their books. The bad thing is that the second payment is my mortgage! I've got to wait until tomorrow to invoke the DD guarentee and get my money back as my bank doesn't open today

Second one, had one about 5 years ago, I'm a bit sporadic with them, just happened to have to go see the nurse and she got me when I wasn't paying attention! :D

Hopefully the bank will sort that out for you Lemon Tree, HSBC refunded a DD for me within 24 hours of me requesting it, apparently it's some banking code.

Big congrats on your wedding djdymond! Hope it was amazing for you
