I'd be inclined to think that it does have something to do with Erin, its got to be a big change for her, maybe for the first few weeks it was exciting and now she's realised the new baby is here to stay.
She isn't the youngest girl anymore but i don't know if that makes any difference but it might in her mind? is it do do with wanting to stay at home to help? Does she think Erin is getting all the attention during the day, is your OH at home during the day too at the moment (think I remember that through the post baby fuzz in my head)? That must make home seem like quite an interesting place to be, Millie loves it when Daddy is home.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Caz, it could be linked to Erin's birth even though you say it's only just started. Sometimes it takes little ones a while to realise the baby is actually here to stay. I remember a little boy at school once who went though a similar thing and it was because he didn't like coming to school while his little sister got to stay with the Mum. That could also be why she can't explain to you what's wrong; she might not be old enough and emotionally aware enough to understand what's wrong -she just knows she misses you!
Our big news for today, DS managed to pick Tom up this morning and crack his head off the cupboard door. Cue lots of blood and screaming and a trip to A&E. Doctor said he's fine but try and keep him quiet and rested for the next couple of days - easier said than done!
Also DD's fish is poorly! We thought it was dead - lying quite still on its side but it isn't. OH has changed the water and we're waiting to see what happens.
While we're sharing, here's my ugly mug 4 weeks before I had Tom, so at around 34 weeks pregnant.

Does that work? I didnt want to post the actual pic and scare anyone!
Oh, and I used the washable breast pads too and thought they worked fine.0 -

I think he'll probably be ok to meet up tomorrow - once I've washed the blood properly out of his hair! (Provided we haven't had him taken off us by Social Services by then - it was this time last year we had to take him as OH had banged his head off a door!)0 -

I've worked out my new post baby food shopping budget now, so I'll go tell 'em over on old-style. It's a wee bit different from the 50p a day each that me and DH managed on before!Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Right, my experiment of wearing the lilypadz overnight didn't go too well but I will report back anyway.
* I felt much better going to bed without a bra and whilst the top boob was swinging free I don't mind so much when it is not hanging out of the top of my bra!!
* I managed to knock one off whilst rolling over...luckily before I went to sleep.
* I decided not to sleep on the maternity mat because it was too crinkly...oops!
* All was fine until Benjamin woke at 5am...taking off the right one was tricky because there was a build up behind it but I had a muslin on hand.
* As I fed from the right the bottom of the left pad sprung a leak causing a waterfall of milk down the side of me and onto the bed/floor!
* I wear contacts but feed 'blind' in the night...the lilypadz are clear so I couldn't see where I put the blooming thing down
* Then this morning somehow the left one managed to leak (they had both been soaked in milk by then so the stickiness wasn't working it's best) and I woke at 8.30am in a milky puddle.
* Not sure if this is related but when Benjamin fed from the left this morning he was dribbling milk down me...I took him off to check and my boob was still spraying milk into the air like a burst pipe
So all in all...worth it for an hour or two of bra-freedombut not for a permanent nighttime solution if you leak as much as I do.
Def worth it when you go out without baby...no unsightly pads showingplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
50p/person/day, how on earth do you do that? I spend more like £2/person/day and I make most food from scratch.
Hi SusanC,
We only did it before I had a baby :rotfl:but we did stick to it for the best part of a year. It was a challenge I did on the old-style board. Great fun! You eat more vegetarian meals that way, but we didn't mind, and OH still had meat 3-4 times a week throughout.
Now we're on just under £1 per person per day, cos we're back to baking bread ourselves (we took the first 6 weeks off that kinda thing!)
Sorry if that's all a bit off topic, just thought I'd answer your question in part (the thread was really long, so I thought I'd save you having to have a look!) It is a bit on topic and parenty though, cos if I hadn't done the challenge, I wasn't sure if we could afford to start a family! :rotfl:
