Best of luck with the interview nads xx

I'm 33 but I still look early 20's :D Had Joshua when I was 21 and James when I was 23. Marriage broke up a couple of years after James was born as ex was playing away. Met hubby who is two years older than me in 2004, married him in 2006 and Charlotte arrived in 2007! Possibly more to follow ;)
Here I go again on my own....

well as we've moved on to OH ages mine is 31, 3 yrs older than me. We've been together for nearly 15 yrs  since i was 14:eek::eek:. Though we did have the good sense to break up a few times to see what else was on offer ;), but in the end we decided we were meant to be :D. When i was 20 he moved into my student house (3 girls and him!), then we moved to a few rented houses, bought our first house when i was 22, got married when I was 24, built our own house and had baby Oscar last yr when I was 27 (only just - he was born 5 days before my birthday - actually he was born on my dad's 60th birthday isnt that nice!) :T .

    my life in emoticons :D.

aagh interview isnt til 3.30pm but Oz is sleeping now so I'm off for a shower, wash hair, straighten hair, sort clothes out. Also have to mop whole house as mother is minding Oz (am hoping she'll mind him here so much easier), and floors are not the best at mo! Better stop procrastinating.

My mum was classed as a very old mum in her day when she had my sister at 28 and me at 30 !!
She had a lot of problems, several D & Cs to help her get an egg to stick and finally got pregnant with my sister after 8 years of trying !!, she said it only took her 4 months of trying for me, but then had more problems and had a hysterectomy.
However all of her family thought her and my dad werent going to bother having a family as they left it so late !!!
The two best things I have done with my life

nadnad, consider your rear kicked if it helps lol!

i just realised the weighing clinic is open today 10-12 so i'm waiting for little man to wake up before i go. he was a pain in the proverbial last night after such a awesome day, woke every 2 hours demanding a feed and then only drank 2 ounces each time, the monster!

It's funny how things change, isn't it? My Mum had me at 27 and she says she was considered to be an old first-time mum. Thank goodness we don't live in the 1970s anymore! :p

I'm 33, had DS1 at 27 and DS2 at 31. My DH is 35 and we've been together 13 years! Most of the mums I hang out with are about the same age as me, so I don't feel too old. :D

And a good friend of my Mum's had her first at 43, so compared to her we're all very young! :T:j

Morning all, well I'm 37 (til Nov) and OH turned 32 in February, so I have toy boy as well. (My ex was 11 years older than me but we split up when he moved onto younger model just before he passed away- long story)

Anyway been married 7 years this September and Henry is 17½ months.

emlou - hope you manage to make it to clinic to get seth weighed - I am intrigued to see how all the other little boys are doing...girls too...but mostly the boys!

Bejamin seems to be happiest having a feed, a nap, some play, a feed, a nap, some play etc...which is fine until he wants to play in the middle of the night - he had me up between 3.15 and 5.00am this morning  I am trying to stay awake and make sure he makes it back into his own bed and he did go down twice (awake) in that time...each time he managed 20 minutes of kicking and gurgling before he began to cry. We tried him in a sleeping bag for the first time last night so that may have been a bit strange for him.

I keep telling myself we are getting there and it could be much worse - he is ALWAYS pacified by a boobie so he never cries for too long unless I am otherwise occupied.

    ...just like his dad ;)

We've been here before with my mid-life crisis, but as you're all discussing it...

I'm 29 - 30 in June. DH is 37, 38 in November. We've been together 10 years, married 5 and baby #2 expected early July. Shouldn't I have to take a test or something?!

My mum was 28 when she had me and 30 when she had my baby bro and that was considered old at the time.

Nad, if you're still hanging around, good luck with your interview. I'm sure you'll knock 'em dead.

Hugs to those who need them.
:T for all babies achieving milestones - weight, length or otherwise

And where is Bailey?! Not sure I can stand the suspense any longer - did you take a test? What was the result?!

Am knackered after a morning at the park with Imogen. Maybe I shouldn't be walking for 45 mins each way with Imogen in the pram at 29 weeks pregnant? Still, I dropped her at playgroup on the way home and am just off to put some meat in to marinade for tea before picking her up again at 2.30. If I can squeeze in a nap I will do!
