I think its wrong
I really can't imagine ever being attracted to a man the same age as my dad (sorry to anyone whos' OH is old enough to be their dad:o)
I've always only ever been attracted to men within about 5yrs of my age
My OH is 4 months older than me although you'd think he was 4yrs younger sometimes!!
I think thats wrong too.
My ex was 9 years older. When I was 17 and he was 26 - he was cool and made me feel grown up.
When I was 28 and he was 37 - he was boring and made me feel old!:beer:0 -

Thank you very much!!!
(Although, mentally i'm younger than him! He can be such an old fart - he's turning into his dad!):beer:0 -
Its ok Millies Mum = I'll take over as token pensioner!!
I'm 37 and have Joe 11 (12 next month), Liv 8 1/2 and Violet 10 weeks.
A couple of girls from my school year are already grandmas!!
But I only feel about 25
Nahhh, I'm 38 (and I have a Liv too!), anybody want to overtake me as thread granny??! DH is 43 and a lot of his friends are granddads, yikes!!0 -

OH is 37 I've been married mmmmm let me think 3 years this July I think, no honestly I really don't remember I think dementia is setting in early or is it still baby brain or maybe even toddler brain:rotfl: OH remembers anniversary I always forget.
I don't think the baby brain ever recovers actually. Do you know, the other day I went shopping in my local shopping mall and left my car door open while I went shopping - and I don't just mean unlocked, I mean wide open!!!!! Admittedly it was Olivia who left it open, but I can't believe I didn't spot that. What a twonk. :rotfl:0 -

Yey - i'm not the oldest!!
I'm very happy to pass the pensioner crown over to you!
My mum had my baby sister when she was 37 - and back then, it was sooooooo old!! I was 16 and about to leave school and was absolutely horrified that Mum and Dad were still doing 'that' at their age! :rotfl:
I went into school and said, 'guess who's pregnant' - they all said 'You!', the shame of saying 'No, my mum' is still there in my memory!:beer:0 -
I think you'll find I'm the thread granny. If I say my toyboy DH is a teensy bit over 50, that will give you a clue. He's only just my toyboy, btw.Signature removed for peace of mind0

when i was pregnant with danny, my mum said something along the lines of me being an older mum, bloody cheek!
i had to explain to her that we had been on the hospital tour that morning and i was the youngest one there and the only one on thier second child
they were all older first timers.....
seems like we have a nice little age range going on here
and my OH is 40 (mental age 4 1/2)0 -
Another thing I feel I have to remind you of is my theory of the Ages of Mothers.
When you have young children, you are a Young Mum. It's easier to say that than that you are a mother of young children, as I'm sure you'll agree. This stage lasts until the youngest leaves Primary School.
By that time, you may well have a teenager, so you are a Teenage Mum.
Hopefully you can then transition nicely into a Student Mum. I still have two teenagers, DS1 (21) and DS2 are at Uni and DS3 is at 6th form and they think of themselves as students not teenagers.
I'm not sure if I want the next stage to be Young Grandma or not, probably not yet, but believe me, I shall work my way through all of the above once more. :rotfl:
BTW, when I had my first, I was living in Surrey. Most of the rest of the country defined 'elderly primagravida' as having your first baby over the age of 30, and would look after you extra carefully. In Surrey, very few women had their first baby before the age of 30, so you had to be over 35 or 40 to be an elderly primagravida. So I wasn't.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
