I agree with what everone has already said, I try to comp for 2 hours MIN per night, I have been comping since July and have consistantly won 2/3 prizes every month since.. still waiting for the biggie though lol!

    My tips would be
    1. Roboform - its a must
    2. Restrict entering to the things you want to win, that way you can enter more of the things you actually want
    3. Try and set an amount of time per night to comp, the more you enter the more you win, I try to set a minimum of 2 hours per night but I have been known to comp for longer!!
4.Most importantly enjoy it because even very small wins bring so much pleasure!
    5. Remember to press the thanks button so you can keep track of the comps you have entered, if you enter some comps more than once you will be eliminated.

I must say that these five tips are the best comping tips that I have seen around.

Just stick at it and eventually the prizes will come flooding in :P

Btw, thank you to Cheeky Chicken for her courtesy :D

I have been comping on this board for over 18 months and had some great wins, my best win was this month a trip to New York!

I use Roboform and would be lost without it. I only enter only the things I want to win or can pass to friends/family. I spend about 4 hours per day comping but don't do anything at the weekends to give myself a break. I only enter one e-mail address and check my e-mails about 8 times a day.

You have to be in it to win and we all have lulls but you know a biggie is just round the corner.

We all seem to agree, use Roboform or some other autofill, set your emails up so your details are entered automatically, use the Thanks button to help keep track of what you have entered, try and set time aside to enter regularly as the more you enter the higher your chances of winning. Use seperate emails, twitter and facebook so you don't get confused.
Last but not least enjoy it or its a waste of time.
Since just before xmas I have been lucky enoughto win... mascaras X 3, foundation X 2, £550 diamond earrings, Canon ixus 210 camera , towel, seeds, chips, beachball, 24cm le cruset, razor, shower creme, fishfood.

I have only been comping since May 2010, & it was then I had my first big win (before joining Mse). I'd never really entered competitions before, and never ever thought I'd win as I wanted those tickets so much, but I did! :j
I won a VIP Package with LG for me & three friends to see Westlife including food, drink & travel.

This gave me the bug & I found Mse. I have since won an Andrex Puppy PJ Case & River Island World Cup vest, small wins but i'm very pleased with them.

I have only been entering the comps that I would like to win for myself or my family. Including competitions held on twitter & facebook.

I get my emails on my phone, but I always keep check of my spam folder via the computer just in case!

    Beware of tick boxes, enjoy!

    My tips for comping are:-
    • Enter loads of comps
    • Have a separate email address for comps
    • Have your name and address in your email signature
    • Don't just enter the big ones ~ chances are everyone else will
    • Don't expect to win anything that way you'll be surprised when you do
    • Have fun and don't do it if it becomes a chore (I've had a couple of weeks "holiday" from comping but I'm back :D)
    • ALWAYS press the "Thanks" button and thank people when you win!
    Edit:
