  • I've found a fix for the wireless problem!

    On the unofficial elonex forum.
    http://elonexone.org.uk/2008/08/05/elonex-onet-deliveries-postponed-email-from-elonex/

On there someone suggested changing the wireless channel to 6 from 11. I did and I was able to connect straight away via WEP. I also made sure the wireless router was supporting g and b wireless as before it was on g but not sure if that makes a difference.

All these settings can be found by going to your router webpage. Mine is accessed on 10.0.42.1 for a netgear wireless router.

Good luck for those who have not yet sent theirs back.
  • Thanks robs, if i ever get one that will switch on i will try that.

Elonex refunded £119 being the original invoice cost of the unit and delivery but not the cost of returning the unit to them.

Still trying to get mine picked up / exchanged , im out all week so asked for them to be left in garage but Elonex say they might use different drivers and the collecting driver might end up picking the good ones up by mistake ....

Not like Elonex to not know their 'drivers' from their elbows!

Seems like all their drivers are elusive.

Illness has prevented me from progressing with my 3, just hanging fire for a few weeks until some non techie people post with jargon free solutions that I can do with a click of the mouse.

    ever the optomist.
