My wins have dropped quite a bit lately...
I still enter as many as i used to.. in fact i prob do more as i have
started doing the daily and monthly..
Either the lucky streak i thought i had has gone or the amount of
people entering has gone up by lots...Comping & Coupons!0 -

It's OK, don't worry, they wont stay for long, we don't have the comps ending lists anymore so there wont be many quick winners this time:rotfl:

Thank you to all who post on the comps/freebies forums you've helped us save our deposit :money:0 -
I think they should be told its a time consuming hobby that may take over your life, and that its fun but hard work.
I def don't agree with serious comping as the answer to being able to furnish your house or travel the world. My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -
Agree with everything said, just want to add it can become addictive. LOL0

The Competitions Board on this site’s Forum is an incredible resource, a huge directory of contests costing nothing to enter. But takes up a lot of time - and you get no housework done!
But how do compers boost their chances of success? Through dedication and doing lots of comps, although it is still down to luck
I want to tap MoneySavers expertise’ to find out the best comps to enter, Anything you actually want to win or are going to use
how to keep track of their entries (Click the thanks button) and come up winning tie-breakers? Unfortunately I don't!
How many should you enter a day? As many as you can find! That you actually want to win.
How much can you expect to win? You don't expect anything - you can always hope!
Are there ways to avoid spam and junk mail? Erm nope. You can opt out, but chances are you'll get loads anyway.
Comping is first and foremost a hobby - when people start seeing it as anything else that is when it goes wrong, that's when the sniping and arguments start.
The forum is just recovering from a bad bout of 'compitis' (A nasty condition where you need enter every comp going and hand everything on a plate or the patient becomes agitated and stroppy) we really don't need another!
It takes alot of time and dedication so needs to be something you do for fun with the added bonus of a win every so often.
keep it fun and you enjoy it so much more!

I've heard that when doing e-mail entries it's best to use plain black font - as some recipients have some sort of block on their receipt box that'll filter out anything with added colour and sparkle. Something like that anyway.
Read the small print. Some comps require collection from a shopping centre millions of miles away or as we've seen recently, are for weekends away - midweek!0 -

If you find a competition that's not posted on here, keep it to yourself, and you might have a one in 10,000 chance of winning it compared to a one in 50,000 ! :rotfl:0
