Morning MissusF

Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway0 -
WHilst de-cluttering, i found an old purse WITH £1.80 in!!! W-hoooooo!!!

(I wonder what i'd save with that OP.....)
Hi
I think some clever person on MSE worked out it the saving was roughly 2 times the op - so a £1.80 op reduces your mortgage by £5.40. Think that's right:D
Well Done:j

Morning MissusF
How are you today?
Hi Sml! Very tired!! Lol!!! We were up til quite late trying to locate a phone charger for another old phone we found (daren't send it off without resetting factory settings!lol!) and came across some of DH's 'modelling' photos from 20yrs ago - i haven't laughed so hard in ages!!! :rotfl:
Hoping to go into work tomorrow to say hi, and to check everything is still running smoothly, hoping to go back to work properly on monday - miss it alot when i'm not there, i teach a really good bunch of kids and they're lovely (AS and A level age)
Had a mad thought of recycling FIL's roof timber into a pergola for my dinky patio - free and would look nice. Haven't mentioned to DH as he's still digging the drive...
£ saving ideas today - just not spend! The £1.80 will get us some milk, we're off out for a meal tonight at in laws (mind you, £5.40 on mortgage sounds attractive - thanks setme!!!) and may watch a DVD between times.
TTFN x
PS Optimistic - think i am already addicted! this site should come with a government health warning! I had a search for the thrifty board but couldn't find it - could you please let me know where i can find it??!!!!!! Many thanks in advance!MFW decided: 14/09/08

Well, today is a good day, i got my pay rise which is fab, and slightly more than I thought
! V chuffed!
Also, we bagged £40 interest on our savings account!

And...we've started eating through our freezer - we got some random delights going on this end!!!

My ccard is less than i thought

But we've got to but an extra ton of gravel (£47) (but it's not that bad really!)
I also play in a band so i've got two gigs this weekend, which will bring in a few quid

Got all the paperwork through for the one account yesterday, so we're gonna take it all to a friend to read through for their opinion.
Must go, random dinner needs input!!

Some good news above, was your new pay inclusive of the £60 rebate for the tax change; could explain it being a little high?Got all the paperwork through for the one account yesterday, so we're gonna take it all to a friend to read through for their opinion.
Hope you've looked at some others too?
Best of luck with your choice.0 -
