I find these descriptions of men very offensive. True, but offensive.

By the way, if you haven't signed up for the purchase yet, now would be a great opportunity to have another think. Your OH may still decide to go ahead, but there seems to be plenty of downside in the property market still, and he might want to think about that some more.

I had that conversation with him and he said No - onwards we go

Twiddling with your bits and drinking beer is such a hard life :p

Hello all, long time lurker first time poster here.

Sorry Natty082, I know this all this 'blokes are useless' is meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but I'd wager you'd get better advice if you cut it out - at best it's boring, at worst offensive.

At what point did I say blokes where useless!!???

I think you will find I said my boyfriend had forgotton to - I never at any point said that!!! I think you will find I've been defending my fella apart from his total sieve mind where he didn't post something!!!! I think you'll see I said he was independant! How is that saying he is useless!..........

And If you can't take a joke (or cope with a bit of sarcasm) then thats not my fault!

You're being inconsistent. You get cross if other people proffer advice you don't want, but you feel free to upset other people and that's their problem.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

The advice wasn't what I asked for! If I wanted relationship councelling then I wouldn't have got cross! People assume too much on here! And jump to conclusions that are hurtful - There is a difference between telling me my partner doesn't want to move in with me and poking fun at the age old tradition of 'men are from mars women are from venus' blokes drink beer... women mop floors... Lighten up! Of course I was cross, the poster assumed I was basically being his mother!

errrm, the thread title says exactly that,

    Also, this

"End of the day he is a man - I work in an office full of them - and let me tell you paperwork is never where it should be!"

I didn't say anything about your boyfriend specifically, so I've got no idea what the middle paragraph of your reply relates to.

I'm sorry you think I 'can't take a joke' I just don't think it's very funny, just boring.
