Basics here too. I nearly had a fit the other day when I realised I'd bought Morrisons' own brand SR instead of Morrisons' value SR. :eek:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
-
And the reason I popped in:
Last year I made some roasted tomato sauce to freeze, and use up some of the tomato glut. I halved tomatoes, put them on a baking tray with a bit of garlic, salt, pepper, herbs and olive oil. Then roasted in the oven until they just started to blacken at the edges, and blitzed them up. It was great, and I need to do some more, but for the life of me I can't remember what temperature I had the oven at.
Recommendations please!
Cheers

Thanks Squeak. :T I didn't think it was that hot, or for that long, so cheers. Saves me mucking it up.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I thought it would be shorter and hotter but a quick skim of the google results were fairly similar.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Yes. You can freeze it once in each state (raw / cooked). So buy, freeze, defrost, cook, freeze, defrost, eat is ok.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

Apologies as I think I posted this in the wrong place. Can I freeze birthday cake? It has thick icing and a chocolate butter cream filling. We've got waaaay to much left.0

Yes, it will be fine:)
Either slice it first, or freeze big wedges.0 -
I have looooads of tiny, marble sized spuds that I dug up from the lottie. None of the family (except me) like potato salad. Any ideas what else I can do with them please?
The only other thing I can think of is to boil them and have them with butter and salt.
Oh BTW.......made my own butter the other day from a tub of whoopsied cream. Amazed how easy and quick it was and how delicious! Did it in the FP.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
