Anyone know if I can freeze HM dip similar to hummus? Made with butter beans, garlic, lemon juice and coriander.

    Thanks

I've never tried it with HM hummus / bean dip (largely because I've never made it myself ;)) but store-bought stuff freezes just fine so I think you'd be OK. It might need a stir after defrosting but I can't think fo anything else that might cause problems.
Back after a very long break!

CCP is spot on! it freezes fantastically! :j can't see why butterbeans would be any different but if you're in doubt try a small ice cube worth tonight and defrost it tomorrow to see :) Get makin! :D

Just a quick question and didn't want to start a new thread :)

Quorn "chicken" Fillets...can you cook them in the microwave or oven WITHOUT any sauce? The directions given are always for cooking with sauce, but I would like to cook some up to have shredded plain and cold in sandwiches/summer pastas etc.

I know Quorn sell chicken deli slices and sandwich-ready fresh bits in the Fridge section but these work out more expensive.

    Thankyou

Absolutely you can. Quorn also do a chicken roast - it's all the same stuff :)

cooking with quorn may also help

it's nice doused in some sort of marinade - bbq sauce, reggae sauce, or cook plain and make up as coronation chicken. I've done that!

Very yummy. I wanted to make proper hummus but realised I was out of chickpeas and didn't want to go to shops so used the power of google to see what else I could do and found this recipe
