  • Can anyone suggest what I can do to get a clothing item smelling fresh?

It's one of my work polo shirts. It smells like stale washing - like when you've left in wet in machine for a day or 2 - but I haven't done this. None of my other clothes smell like this, just the one polo shirt. It is oldish (3yrs) and I do wear it once/twice a week and wash after every wear. However it's still in good nick so don't want to chuck it just cos it pongs!

    Cheers

  • Couple of quick questions if anyone can help :)

    1. I won a hamper of baby organix snacks (the crisps, cereal bars, cookies etc) which DS has scoffed but the hamper also included 4 pots of baby food (7m +) , 2x beef and vegetable and 2x chicken hotpot.

I dont know anyone to give them to with a baby the right age and the dates aren't long enough for me to save them for Roo so i was wondering if i could add some stock and use them as a base for soup to give DS at lunchtime? He wont eat them just as mush cos hes a big boy lol

    2. Supernoodles (or own brand equivalant), is it the whole thing that contains the nasties or would the noodles be ok/healthish if i didn't add the sachet of flavouring?

I was given 4 pks and the kids love it when i make a lazy stir fry for them - Mixed frozen veg, noodles and a dash of soy sauce so i was thinking i could use the the noodles from the packs to do this?

Sorry if the questions are a bit dim :o

Old Style Moneysaving. It's not just recipes and storecupboards, but all the recipes and storecupboards are there.

In fact, now I think of it, my own storecupboard is on there somewhere :rotfl:

    What cheese? :p

Is it white and in like little cubes? I am suspecting it's probably some sort of fake feta (they can't just put "feta" on the label because it's not, a bit like only real Stilton can be called Stilton, so they have to come up with another name). Search that t'internet for feta or goat's cheese recipes and you'll find plenty to do, a number of tart-type affairs come to mind for a start.
