Don't know if this is what you are after as I'm not up to speed on even submitting a post on this site (yet to get to grips with it all), but they are the only bookmarks I have kept pertaining to recipes Old Style recipe Index or The Complete Cooking Selection

    Hi Pennyforthem :)

I don't use soap bars myself, but found you a couple of threads which should help

    Using up old soap

    Homemade soap

Liquid soap - an OS version

    Hope that helps

I've got a massive bowl of whipped cream left over from a party last night, any suggestions as to what I can do with it? Is it possible to freeze it?

I know you can freeze it (because I have) but I can't remember what it's like when it defrosts. There's probably a thread which zippychick will find for you ...

Just make sure you freeze it in manageable quantities. I think if you're that way inclined you can pipe it into rosettes and freeze it like that, then it will look all stylish when you get it out, but I'd find the thread and make sure it's not going to collapse in a heap before spending a lot of time doing that.
