Does risotto freeze well? I made pea and mint risotto for tea and have a portion left over, don't really want it again tomorrow so wanted to freeze.

    TIA

Brushing the cut surface with a drop of lemon juice should help. (Or so I'm told - I've never yet managed to keep half an avocado as I always end up eating the whole thing in one go. :o)

    Hi,
I need some quick advice as I'm about to cook tea soon.
I'm making a veg chilli but have just discovered that I only have red onions not white ones - can I use these instead?
    Thanks!

You certainly can. Red onions are sometimes (although not always) a bit milder than white ones, but that's the only real difference (apart from the colour, obviously ;)).

    Enjoy your chilli! :)

ETA - buggalugs - you beat me to it!
