I just make it up as I go along :D

Oi you! Gimme my life back! :rotfl:

That's what I did - I put a little dribble in the bottle with some water and so far so good - it's cleaning just fine.

I don't think I'd leave spinach in a slow cooker for the length of time that it takes to cook the dish - I'd just stir it in about half an hour before cooking is finished.

I DO know that it takes 1min in a pressure cooker lol.

I didn't bother with the slow cooker and bunged it all in a pan earlier. Just waiting for it to cool so I can blend it.

    Thanks for your reply!
    Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100
  • Hi all! Just wondered if someone could point me in the direction of a white sauce/ cheese sauce recipe please?

I have tried searching for one and looking through the recipes at the beginning of the grocery challenge but think I'm going blind!

    Thanks!

All in one white sauce - Delias. I would then bung in some cheese to taste =- there is a whole thread about cheese sauce here

Also a white sauce thread if that helps :)here

  • Hi
I've seen, on a few occasions. that you can successfully freeze stuffed jacket potatoes, but can you freeze them unstuffed  and, when re-heated, do they come out all soft skinned? (even if they went in crispy)
Can they be cooked from frozen or have to be defrosted first

    Thanks
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
  • Hey, wasn't sure where to ask this.

I want to buy a friend a cake stand/ cupcake stand for her birthday. My budget is about £10-£15 and I would ideally like a '2 storey' one with space in the middle for the cakes rather than the ones with a central pillar type design. They have lovely ones in paperchase but they are out of my budget. Any ideas?

    Thanks

I got a brand new one from a charity shop for £3.99 a few months ago, so it is always worth checking charity shops for bargains.
