Want to make some pizza dough which is fine, but do I freeze it for topping at a later date BEFORE I cook it? Or do I need to cook it before I freeze it?
Is there a knack for rolling it out once it's done?

You can freeze it before shaping and cooking. When you want to use it, allow it a couple of hours to come to room temperature.

Don't roll it out - just press it out. Have a look at this - it's an excellent youtube tutorial on shaping pizza dough:

Oooh thanks both. I do really need to freeze as I'm on my own for the next 5 days and on a diet so don't really want to live on pizza for the next week!
So can I freeze in just two balls then and shape when defrosted? Will it lose any of it's elasticity?
    Thanks :)

Hi. Have a look here for a buttercream recipe. I sub 1oz of icing sugar for 1oz of cocoa powder for really chocolatey results ;) HTH

I bought chicken, froze it, then defrosted and cooked it. Now I want to make stock or soup with the remains. Can I ? And then freeze it again or just eat it ? never sure with chicken !

Yes, you can make a stock or soup with the remains.

Yes, you can freeze it (the stock, soup or the cooked chicken itself) again - as long as it was cooked between defrosting and re-freezing, it's no problem.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to freeze bananas? I have half a dozen which are rather riper than I like to eat them but should be perfect for banana cake - unfortunately I'm not going to have time to do any baking until Sunday, when they'll probably be so over-ripe I could pour them into the mixing bowl without mashing them first!

I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that you can freeze bananas, but now I can't remember where I saw this and I'm starting to think I'm imagining things.

    Thanks for your help, someone!
Back after a very long break!
