DH did indeed take apart the old computer desk last night so we have a big gap in the dining room. He then took the afternoon off work today and wired in a new plug socket for me in the cupboard under the stairs so that I can actually put my freezer in there. (We forgot to do it when we did the kitchen so it had to wait another 2 years!)
He has emptied out the cupboard so now both my kitchen and dining room are covered in stuff and I'm darned if it's going back!
I am so looking forward to being able to put away my hoover and my vax. I can put the camping stuff in there so it's not in our wardrobe oh how lovely!
Tonight is my last of 5 nights so I don't know how long I'll sleep for tomorrow. Really I need to get cracking on sorting and dumping stuff! DD is going to a friends after school so it'll be myself and DS who have to get cracking. I expect I'll give him a treat for helping out if he helps well!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

bin liners to stop the new bins from going manky!
some nappies in preparation for the new arrival!
£87 to Paypal account for eBay sales :j

Out:
2 manky old waste paper bins
10 ebay parcels. :j
2 bags of soft toys from my daughter's room (charity shop)
pile of kids videos (charity shop)
few kids books (charity shop)
toy travel cot that was for my daughter's dolls but took up so much room!

3" off my hair (at long last, my first haircut since February!)

I'm sure there's been more than that but I can't think of anything at the moment.

I used Freecycle to get rid of utter junk without paying the council to remove it:
http://www.freecycle.org
This is good for losing stuff you can't sell. I needed to get rid of lots of stuff over the Christmas period when the council weren't doing collections and when the tip was closed. I advertised on Freecycle and within 24 hours it had all gone, even the terminally broken bed frame!Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
