wHmm, an incredibly busy time at work has meant I've been so bone-tired when I've finally got home that I've just virtually staggered up to bed - or snored on the couch - which is much more uncomfortable! Anyway, as we had our livingroom repainted this week, everywhere else in the house is full of what normally lives there, so to speak. Hoping that I can bear the resultant mess long enough to go through everything and only replace stuff I really want in the livingroom. At the moment the couch, three chairs and a couple of lamps have made it back in.....but the pictures from the wall, the bookshelves and CD shelves, plus all their contents, wall shelves and ornaments remain distributed elsewhere until I can be ruthless! (Oh and DH insisted on the TV returning too!)
This is such an opportunity to get stuff out, but not sure I have sufficient time before we need to be able to use the dining-room, the conservatory and the spare bedrooms - all of which are being used as temporary storage! (We do have quite a large livingroom...but it looks so much better virtually empty!
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!
