Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Get well soon.

Decluttering is going ok over here, but does anyone have any ideas for what to do with the number of chargers I have (and don't know which phones they fit)?

I can't bear to send stuff to landfill, have tried freecycle and can't find my camera charger to list on ebay! Is there a company like Mazuma, Envirofone etc that recycles chargers???

I hurt my ankle a few weeks ago and have spent today sorting out my shoes. Will I ever wear high heels again -no- so I put a huge box of about 20 pairs on freegle and they went within 10 minutes and I have 3 other replies. :j

I close the door on the study when it looks like it does today... but I have found that old chestnut of setting a timer for 15 or 20 minutes is good. You set yourself a time limit and start sorting the clutter - when the buzzer goes you can decide to leave the rest of the job or carry on for another 15/20 mins.

If you decide to leave the rest of the job there is no need to feel guilty because you did the 15 or 20 minutes you said you'd do - so the guilt is reduced as you have at least done something.

Sometimes, I find I get so absorbed in the job I don't hear the buzzer go off!

I find that if the ironing is under control most other stuff falls into place. Until I worked out that it was the ironing pile that was dominating all the other tidying/cleaning issues it was a real struggle.
