It is very theraputic although I do think things are looking going to get worse before they get better!

I think exactly the same, things got much worse despite how much I decluttered! Then a few months later it got better after I had another huuuuuggge declutter on Friday and got rid of various items on Freecycle and tidied up my massive ebay pile which I keep decluttering items to!

Decluttering is working a treat now! - getting there at long last and just need to declutter 3 items of furniture via ebay which I keep putting off for some reason :o

DH went off to the Recycling centre on Friday with even more junk from the garage plus the recycling the Council don't collect.

Now he needs to go again soon because we broke up the third ricketty flat-pack wardrobe (the second-hand beautiful wooden replacement arrives on Tuesday) and the dodgy chipboard bookcase is not long for this world (replacement is sitting in the garage ready to be painted in Farrow & Ball). I am really enjoying this one-in-one-out system of home rejuvenation

Dear Mamma took another bag of DD's unwanted clothes off to the charity shop, but couldn't take DS1's unwanted summer stuff as DS2 has snaffled them ;). well, it saved me ironing :o

    IN:
New radiator & thermostatic valve for DD's new room
new wrench/ spanner thing, as OH needed 2 to do the job, apparently!
new extension cable - reduced in B&Q - one of our other ones keeps causing things to cut-out, due to a loose wire :(
new denim jacket for DD (she's 11 and her old one is 7-8! - so got a 12-13 on sale)
new top for DD - present from my mum

    OUT:
    packaging!
little bit of DD's outgrown school uniform to a friend

    PENDING:
11/15 ebay items sold (total £175 - yippee!!)
2 to be collected with cash on collection later this week
6 paid for and need parcelling up (will use some of my packaging stash too - fab!)
    3 still to pay

old radiator & thermostatic control listed on freecycle but no replies as yet - to tip at weekend for recycling if no luck
DDs old denim jacket in wash ready to go to NCT sale

still loads to do, but house is in need of serious cleaning & tidying this week as much as possible - have fallen massively behind thanks to new baby - so tired! And if he's awake he seems to want to be feeding. Not taht I'm really complaining - I'm lucky to have them and he is gorgeous and they do grow so quickly! Am not really planning on any real decluttering as such this week, except for getting rid of pending items where possible :D

Also have no hot water - had cold shower yesterday and discovered it. Engineer arriving this morning - so have put off shower until later when fixed - too cold for another cold shower today!
ETA: now fixed - yippee! And he fixed the leak in the new rad where OH had changed it and couldn't get it not to leak :D:D
