Hi Mumzy
That 50p/day was what Weelz started with for food only -- and was 50p each for her and Mr Weezl (Acetate Monkey).
However, Weezl is now pregnant -- so a lot of us have been trying to convince her that she should also have the babies 50p/day (think she is now generally above 50p for her, but not the full £1)Cheryl0 -
Babies??????????????????????
Congratulations!!!!!!!!

Baby's -- single baby. Never can get the hang of apostophes and often find myself using plurals instead
Loads of links to recipes in the first post. When I do HM anything I add up the cost of all the ingredients and divide by the number of portions (which can be some for today and some for the freezer for using later)Cheryl0 -
Hi most of us don't manage the 50p a day If you want an idea of how they do it check the recipes on the first page
Mrs M hope you found the christmas patterns useful:D0 -

Hi all,
Am definitely going to make some of those cookie jars for my Christmas hampers, they look great.
Beautiful early spring day yesterday, so I planted cherry tomatoes (in a hanging basket on the deck, visions of walking underneath, reaching up, picking and nibbling). Heavy frost this morning, probably lost the lot!
Such is the life of an over optimistic gardener.
Have a great day0 -

Shaz
ps food looks great too :rotfl:
See, this is what I like about this place - who else would appreciate my jars as much, eh ?
Yep, Sharwoods cook-in sauce jars is what they are - I used to buy one or two a month specifically for the jar - the sauce was just like a free bonus with the jar, lol. I got so many now I don't need any more, and can make all my own sauces now....0
