Afternoon all
Well the roast chicken dinner was lovely :T plus I have lots of mashed potato/swede, green/yellow beans, carrots, brussels n cabbage left -so that will be bubble n squeak on tuesday (hubby on duty tomorrow so out until 10am on tues) -so i only have myself to feed.
Going to strip the chicken off as i want to have a bash at chicken n leek suet puddings nomnomnom, the rest will get frozen and i will turn the rest plus the carcass into chicken n sweetcorn soup for hubbies flask :j
I am on a super cut back economy drive this month -just because I can... well then i can put more into the savings
hoping to need milk, fresh yeast and a bit of veg -and thats about it :j
shhhhhhh - I think I have just about got the grips of crochet now  :j ... It has been bugging me for ages -made worse by everyone telling me its easier than Knitting  -NOT in my world it isnt -anyway I think after 2 days of huffing n puffing I might have just about got the basics-so I have started a blankywish me luck -i might need it
In search of me..I think fergus will cope with that name-girl or boywhen my SIL was expectin I always refered to "baby" as Bumpsadoodle and it has stuck -well actually her proper name is "bumpsadoodle scrumdiddlyumptious one" :rotfl:

Good luck! But if you're clearly doing better than I am! I'm struggling horrendously with it... I can't turn corners, and I think I must pull the wool too tight as I really can't get a rhythm going. I've got a friend coming next week to show me properly so fingers crossed that after then I'll have more of a clue!
Time to nip down to the shop and see what they have before closing... and the fella wants a chocolate cake for when he gets in tonight.... I knew telling him I was going to be baking was a bad idea... I suppose it'll use up the cocoa thats been hanging around since I went on my diet

Right -back to the crochet
Mrs M you'll love crocheting as it grows so fast.I've been doing it for years and now prefer crocheting to knitting. If you have any probs feel free to pm and I'll help you out if I can
The leek and chicken suet puddings sound nice might give that a go myself this week as I bought two huge chickens yesterday and have loads of cooked meat in the freezer

Anyone peckish ? I got bread, rolls, hobnobs and polenta biscuits... Oh, and a bunch of deee-licious carrots from the garden, just waiting to be added to spicy lentil soup.
