    Hello all,

been meaning to post about the meet but been a bit busy recovering from a weeks self-catering holiday with a baby!

Twinkle_star looks very vibrant and heathy on her vegan diet, seakay is amazingly well-informed about all manner of things relating to food ethics (I am challenged to read more seakay!) and turns out to have been the inspiration for twinkle's veganism :T:T:T Shaz, you were just as I picture you, apart from that you post about needing to diet, which I don't think is true at all :p

We conversed about all manner of stuff, as you might imagine:

    veganism
    freecycle
    foraging
    eating a pigs head
    how we each discovered Martin....

I will remember it as a delightful and fun time and HWGA and gigervamp, if ever you are in cardiff, I am up for another meet!

Thanks loads to ISOM for organising it.:D

Big round of applause to shaz for coming the furthest:T:T:T:T:T:A

Yes, many thanks to ISOM and lovely to meet everyone - also to eat out - haven't done that since I don't know when.
Pretty shattered after all the excitement - managed a bit of weeding yesterday and got some horrendous insect bites for my trouble so now taking anti histamines in addition to usual meds and rubbing in hydro cortisone cream - but well worth it and great to meet some fellow old stylers and to find that they are all even more lovely in real life then I had guessed from their posts!
  • see a lessor spotted wezzle is alive and sightings confirmed! Also agree shaz has no need of diet!! lovely to meet you too seakay and hope you recover soon...these things are always exhausting arent they! If its any consolation I slept for 3hrs sun afternoon!! Apparently avon original body oil spray is fab for fighting off the midges...

I am seriously impressed that Shaz travelled all that way. I am feeling quite wimpy now for saying it was too far for me as I'm in East Sussex!

Good to hear that everyone hd a good meet.
I dont know of anyone over here in Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire?
I made some courgette muffins, and a banana cake for my BF's family yesterday.
I also made a huge Moussake for them. We had some last night, and there is half of it left for them to either freeze or have today.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

yes - a mini meet last sun as shaz was in the vicinity...I did ask, and ask and ask and all were welcome ...deliberately didnt want anyone to feel left out but there were only so many times I could say could peope let me know if they want to come without being annoying! Hopefully you can come to next one?! :D

Ah, didn't see it, but I only pop into this thread from time to time.

I'll definitely see if I can make it next time you have one, but you'll have to post it on the main OS board, otherwise I'll miss it again!
