weezl74,
I was reading your earlier thread and you made some gnocci with instant mash in pesto and spicy tomato sauces. I'm sorry if I missed them but could you please tell me the sauce recipes?

Can you mix plain yoghurt into it and it still be ok? Or another suggestions?
I was feeling so pleased with this frugal recipe coming in at either 13p or 18p per portion making either 6 or 8 portions and being v.frugal.
I have set my mouth on fire and I don't want to throw it away!
Do you have any coconut milk? That might work. I don't see why yogurt wouldn't work in it either though. Could you try it on one portion to see what it's like?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hiya all, hope everyone is well!
I didn't end up going to Home Bargains as we had a bit of a nightmare in Manchester.
I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
@BOBAH, someone from freecycle has offered me a blender jug, so thanks for the suggestion.
@ISOM, yes femme cup is a moon cup. I have lots of period problems so I can't use it all the time, but it's a great product.
I've suddenly developed a sweet tooth, which isn't good when I need to lose weight. I'm going to make a sorbet tomorrow so I can have the sweetness without the calories.Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0 -
Hi everyone - I'm lurking agin.
Just a query re costco - how do you become an individual member, there is info on the site about trade membership but I understand there is a membership for ordinary mortals without business bills etc. What ID do they want for that?
OH is going to Sheffield on Saturday and if pos he could go join up then, or at least get the forms.
Hope you can help.
Individual membership is for professionals (eg accountants, Dr's, coppers etc) but if you are lucky your company might have company membership like my H. It's the only way we could join.
Be wary - not everything is cheaper and you can spend a lot if you are not careful. But their meat is excellent, I don't buy it from anywhere else :T
I've never been to Makro? Any better than Costco?I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning all!
I feel very virtuous today as I got up and made a tagine to have tonight, yum yum.
My friend from work took me to an Asian supermarket in Rotherham last night and it was amazing. The fruit and vegetables were an awful lot cheaper, 29p for a massive bunch of coriander, 2 mangos for £1, massive tubs of natual yogurt for 3 for £1. I got lots of bits and pieces and after I move I will be going to stock up on rice and lentils and the like.
We then made some amazing curries, chicken, lamb and one with okra, chick peas and paneer, was delish but took forever, we didn't get to eat until 10pm
All in all a lovely evening.
Hope all is good with everyoneGod is good, all the time

We've got a Makro card but don't find it that cheap. They do sometimes have some good offers on food bits and pieces though so it's worth keeping an eye on their promotional leaflets.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
