  • Afternoon ladies,

My 1st chance to pop in to post today as i have not stopped really. I took DS1 to nursery and was home for 9ish, then had breakie, and started and have worked solidly round dealing with DS2.

I've mainly been working in the living room - i have totally pulled out everything apart from the big floor to ceiling bookcases and hoovered/swept/dusted/rearranged/cleaned the laminate floor with a cloth on my hands and knees. It's a long while since it has had more than a lick and a promise, and it needed it really, particularly the coving/skirting and under the settee.

I've also managed to wash up and get a beef stew in the SC.

DS2 just napping, and i am having a 10 minute breather. I need to write a letter to the nursery outlining my plans for the boys, so i might do that now while i am thinking about it, and then i can sit down for a bit too. ;) Will catch up later here i think.

dusty sorry to hear about your DS. It never rains eh?

Right onwards - planning on watching some catch up telly while playing with ds2 for the rest of the day i think once he wakes up, and then pick ds1 up somewhere around 4:30ish.

Ebay stuff gone and managed to get the fees so that the postage just covers them which I feel is fair and makes it just worthwhile. At least 4 less items in the house and a small amount of cash in my PP account.

Will see what I can do in 20 minutes

Afternoon, I've just finished work so no flying yet.

Beanie - glad OH's cast is off. How dare he steal your thunder and break his leg after your section...damn inconsiderate!!!

Dusty - good news about your son. That's good you can take it off yourself. Fracture clinics are not fun!!

Our television has given up the ghost. I knew it was going because the sound kept going on and off and the picture was a little green. Might wait till the January sales to replace it ...will have to see how quickly the children notice it's not working. This means i'm going to keep it in the living room until it's replaced. I reckon they'll probably suss it's duff at half term though we are going to Scotland so that might buy me a bit more time!

Right, need to fly, fly, fly as I have children coming for tea xx
  • Hellooooooo :hello: (posts waving smily in case they're back! and comments on it in case they're not!!!)

Apologies for not listing induvidual replies, but last time I did that it took an hour with reading, and responding!!!

So, sorry to hear about any colds/coughs/broken bones/ naughty children/fleas/badly behaved drains+ boilers!!!!

And THANKS to all who congratulated & wished DD2 luck

Kaz... remember star drops is very concentrated!! A little goes a long way! There is a star drops thread which is amazing for what everyone uses theirs for. Good luck!!

Been to Psychiatrist with DD3 today. All's good, and she's given me a top-up tablet to try and level out DD's ADHD when she's at home... looking forward to trying that, as currently, school get the chilled medicated version, I get the medication's worn off, running round the walls version!!!

Also phoned Virgin Media told them I was thinking of leaving to go to Sky, cos kids want the Sky+ box. They've signed me up to their version, upped my tv package from basic to XL and put a cable box in my bedroom all for £5 less than I was currently paying!! woo hoo!! :j (jumping up and down smily)

Brief whizz round fly-wise.... My Mother babysat last night, and she said " your house is gleaming isn't it"

**** falls over in a dead faint*****!!!!!!!!!!!!!
