I can't sleep! DD is away, I've spent the night vegging out on the sofa catching up on all my programmes from the past week. Got all my crime ones to watch tomorrow as well as films, casualty, holby, then maybe there might be enough space for me to record Lord Of the rings for DD tomorrow. I never watched this much TV when ex lived here lol.

Boddy - I'm glad Jake came home OK
Valli - hope the head's not too bad this morning
Lil-me - hope you all slept well.
Rach - how did the walk go?

Looks like it's going to be a nice day here today. I'll get some washing out on the line shortly.

Will start a bit of work now - in my nightie and dressing gown! I've some bread due to finish baking at 8am so that'll be my first work break when I jump in the bath and get dressed I think.

No sexymouse this morning? Hope that's because you got a phone call and are busily working!

    Hi Ladies,

Sorry I wasn't about yesterday - as Serena correctly guessed, I got a call at 8am to get to a school in Havant by 8.50 and I'd never been there before - cue the panic - printing off directions, having a shower, getting dressed, packing up a lunch (hadn't thought I'd get a call as had been quiet all week) and then getting lost twice on the way cos I turned off too early. Anyway, I got there in the end, and spent the whole day in a Year 6 class, and it turned out to be a really lovely school. I've asked to be sent back there again in the future, as the head and other staff were so nice, and the children weren't badly behaved either.

Sorry I wasn't about to wish you a happy birthday Johanne - I hope that you had a wonderful day, and I'm glad that you got a nice Mummy card.

Just going to catch up with a little bit more of the thread, but have to go in a minute cos I'm going to the gym and will then be out all day after that.

Take care everyone, and happy flying!

    sexymouse xx

    Morning all.

Boddy i'm glad jake came home safely.

I've done my morning dailies and am just waiting for Ds1 to come back with the extension lead from OH's house then i'm off to attack my garden.

I still need to do Ds2's room and Ds1 needs to do his. I need to do some washing and ironing too at some point.

I'm going out tonight with a friend of mine so i'll have to try and conserve some energy or i'll be asleep by 9 o clock:rolleyes: . I can't decide whether to drink or drive. A taxi home will be about £10. I might need the alcohol though to get through the night. I'll decide later.

Ooooohhhhhh! I see! It was 'Bolonskettinayse' in our house for years, after DD1 had it a restaurant and came home proudly announcing " I had a big plate of Bolonskettinayse" She was only 2 and a half!! ;)
