I've also been given 2 days next week out of class (I normally get 1) so I can do things that need doing to catch up :D

Will definitely join you in MACAW - will have to make a decision on what to start with cos there's quite a lot!!

Have done a bit in the kitchen this evening but am feeling very lazy tonight so am gonna watch DIYSOS and do a bit of cross stitching!

  • Evening all...Morning Denise.

TFI Friday!! Hope everyone has had a good day.

My house is looking decidedly the worst for wear since I slipped of the flying wagon, but I intend to make up for it this weekend. I have no excuses as I have finally got over my Sinusitis (no more orange snot, Yeah!)

My MACAW is to only have a drinkie on weekends. Since having the lurgy, I have cut down on my evening tipples and have been much brighter in the mornings (though I wouldn't claim to be a morning person just yet!!)

Ooh, before I forget, Pigpen - did you speak to anyone about the courses in the end? and also, what hospital will you be in charge of once you've finished and qualified? Coz I want to make sure I get any medical help I may need from there - it will be so clean and organised, I def won't be catching any extra germs if I have to come in... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Flaming eck, I went upstairs to change the bedding and 3 hours later.......

I have thrown 5 bin bags of rubbish away.

Sorted and put away all our clothes

Moved 2 large wardrobes out onto the landing.

Moved our bed round so it is now facing the other way.

Packed some bedding into some of those flat bags.

Packed our tent and sleeping bags stuff into a cupborad.

Put the other tailors dummy I have into a cupboard instead of constantly shifting it about.

Found a load of really big frames that we need for some pictures we have, they were stuffed behind a big chest of drawers that I shifted to the other side of the room.

Dusted and wiped down all the really dusty things in our room.

Stacked the piles of books up rather than having them spread around.

Moved the tv and lugged it from one end of the room to the other.

    Hoovered up.

    Sorted tons of washing out.

Stashed some christmas decorations :o that were stacked on top of a cupboard into another cupboard.

Oh and the same with some halloween stuff from last year.:o:o

    Found £1.00 under a cupboard :D

Decluttered all the tops of the furniture.

Thrown away loads of old make-up.

    And socks.

Oh and I changed the bedding.:D

Eek looked at the time and my hopes of getting to the pub are a bit dashed, I need a shower as I stink of dusty muck.

Sorreeeeeeeeeee Pigpen, you can see I was hard at work, which is unheard of.

Actually feel quite pleased with myself. Felt overwhelmed about it all for so long and it's like I got a grip tonight.

Thanks to everyone re hugs re my DD, she's fine today, actually she's been out ith her friends so all is good there.

Right best get some washing sorted into bags, I have a disconnected washing machine at the mo so I'll probably head to the launderette tomorrow, get it done in one hit, then shower, then alcohol.:rotfl:

    Evening all

Triker - that is an amazing amount to achieve in one evening.

Vali - hope your night out was worth all the hassle

I've spent the evening getting the 2 younger ones to bed (one went to Judo for the first time and had a ball) after checking for nits, checking toe and finger nails and the progress on the Vs I was ready to quit - they had clean bed sheets so I like them to go in spick and span.

I've also done a pile of ironing so will have less to do on Sunday.

Just going to have 30 minutes on here then call it a night.

Managed to get the mobile thing to work, for now, :) much prefer having you lot with me

boddy hope he returns safe and well soon, I couldn't have another cat, too much of a worry. I was in Newcastle aswell today, nothing flash unfortunately just up Westgate Road to sort DPs quad stuff out.
nicki well done for getting your assignment in, wish I was as organised.
    Triker well done!!!
Dusty you sound like me, I check everything at once on the boys, they never hide of course how much they hate me for it

Set up caravan, well ish, dragged the water stuff out and the beds are made (DS2s helping do his own now which is great) Watching them sleep (miracle they are asleep before midnight!!), I just wonder where the time has gone, they're growing up so fast. It's weird when we're away as we all sleep in one 'room' I actually prefer it as I know where they are and they are safe. Sorry I am waffling, think I am just relaxed and appreciating what I do have instead of worrying what I won't have.

Weekend list (yes still things to do even if we're away)

    Swimming (probably twice)
    Vacuum caravan
    Studying (4 hours hopefully)
Get awning carpet in the big washers here on Sunday to take home (because it's like a pond out there still!!!)
Shopping - didn't have bread etc ready to bring with me so need a few things
Sort through food we have in here, see what there is and when to use it
Clean one of the awning panels (inc try to gt dog prints off)
Take DS2 over for his quad biking on Sunday
Sunday evening -- washer loads of biking stuff (which will no doubt be vile!!) one normal washerload first, uniforms sort, packed lunches made, tidy whatever mess Mam has made
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
