You don't think its possible that some posters are repeating the same comments, because they know no-one is going to remember what was said 3 years ago?
I think they may be repeating themselves because someone else brings the subject up again.
I don't know if you have been watching this thread, but the person who kick started it again appears to have been booted, so you can't see their posts.0 -

I know this thread is long and very tired , and i;m sorry if someone has already said this (as 3 years of threads is a lot to read through) but i am a mother and it used to annoy me when i get to the supermarket and there were no spaces left in the mother/baby bays, getting car seat out when you cant open door wide is a nightmare. Also a question, When does your child not qualify for these bays as my dd is almost 6 but she has a habit of opening her door(when parked ) regardless of how close the other cars are0

Is it safe to let a 5 year old get out of a car herself in a carpark?0

My son is nearly 4, but he doesn't need to use P&C spaces because I use the child locks so he can't open the door from the inside. He is quite capable of getting out through a small gap, and walking to the supermarket.0

i use the p & c space when with my children as long as they have the car seats in the car, makes it easier and also my kids arent goin to bad my car doors into another car, i rarely see expectant mums using the bays in asdai will be debt free, i will0

P&C, spaces don't me laugh. I'll use them whether I've got the kids with me or not. Parents don't NEED them as some of you seem to think, they are a gimmick.
If you're kids are liable to opening the door and maybe hitting someone elses car, then teach them not to do it !
Diasbled people however DO need them, now that's different and I wouldn't dream of using one of those. Double standards you might say !
Make the regular spaces wide enough so some oik in their old banger isn't going to open their door and hit my car causing damage and I'll stop using the P&C spaces. It has nothing to do with being lazy or wanting a shorter walk to the store. I'd still use them if they were the furthest spaces away.
Morals my a*se !!!!0
