Monarch Airlines - how safe ??

  • Anything can happen in any Airline?

The handling agent is responsible for your bags from A - B not the Airline.

Every Charter flight is a 'cramped' one, do you expect 6IN of legroom to go to Palma?

If you think of how many flights they do every day every week, Then incidents are bound to happen in one shape or another.

Wishing the Airline it's demise, And saying that you will never use them again is just 'pure' drivel Talk.

Do you say - I won't use the M25 again because it was cramped with cars and I was delayed - probably No?

Saying you won't use a company again is just an easy way out, And not having any understanding of the Airline biz.

You get what you pay for.

    .

I so wish that I could avoid using the M25 as I seem to spend my life sitting in jams on it LOL

The baggage handlers wrecked the bags. They are not Monarch staff. Therefore Monarch didnt destroy the suitcase

Monarch employ the company that handle their bags, they obviously use the cheapest firm they can find who have no respect for passenger's bags.

The bottom line is that Monarch are responsible for the handling of baggage.

    Not a "cool" answer . :D

While true, there are usually only 3/4 handling agents at any airport, and the agents that Monarch use at different airports probably handle most of the competition.... there isn't much to choose from in the ground handling game, its generally sh*te whoever provides the service! Whichever company damaged your bag probably damage bags from every other airline they handle.... not that its an excuse....
  • Please excuse the above post by Mr Smart Price - he is afterall a Coventry City supporter (according to his avatar) - therefore he/she has not much to look forward to - it explains a lot !! ;)

You clearly have no idea about the concept of eternal suffering and misery, punctuated by one brief taste of glory over 20 years ago!:(

It is, of course, something you are born to. But to say that any football fan has nothing to look forward to also demonstrates a lack of understanding. All fans have everything to look forward to. For most, it's all there is.....:o

And in the end, it's not the disappointment that gets you. It's the hope....;)
  • i dont know how much i have to look forward to actually (Newcastle fan) And youre quite right, it is the hope that gets you. And an occasional 5-0 win will keep you going for years (Sad i know)

True, But there is alot of competition when it comes to 'renewing' contracts with the Airlines.

'Circusair' (Servisair) is one of the biggest.

I do not actually recall saying that Mr S Price - what I did say is that as a "Coventry City" supporter etc etc - there is a big difference between being a football supporter and a Coventry City supporter, one you live in hope - the other you have no hope whatsoever, I will let you decide which is which ;)

I was giving you a little credit for having a sense of humour. Clearly that was a mistake.

Your semi-literate drivel proves two things to me. Firstly that you are extremely immature and obtuse for missing the point. And secondly you are almost certainly a ManUre 'fan'!:rotfl:

Oh, and Los Gigantes is a dump!;)
