I'm so sorry to hear about your son, what a terrible thing to happen. It's so lovely to see that you are turning that into something positive and using your experience to hep other mums and babies. I really admire you.
We definitely have some wool and other bits you are welcome to have so PM me with your address and I'll send them out asap! I don't live *too* far from Orpington if you prefer to pick up, but I'm quite happy to post it too.£100 for Christmas challenge: £3/£100 so far!0 -
Maria - just wanted to say that I don't have any wool or material as I recently gave mine to the local children's hospice as they were having a big sew/knit in but I think you're doing a great job0

Pleasure honey, if I come across anything else will post it on! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
maria, I've not forgotten you, just the blanket to go now. (different than one I first said, I'll show you before I send) I just have to buy some buttons for the cardies, the red things you see on there are stitch markers. Going to send the yellow cardie too, it's larger but maybe somebody could use it? I only knit it cos I liked it. LOL
Maria or anyone who knows, are these mittens and booties too small? I put a 2p there so you could see. I looked on web for preemie baby pictures but it wasn't any use. You'll have to excuse my ignorance but I just don't know how little they are.
Thanks to shezmit, the hat pattern was great.0 -

I knit for premmy babies
I hope you don't mind me mentioning these, Maria, because some people may find a local group to support / be supportive. It is such a lovely idea.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Sorry about this but offering to exchange or donate items personally is against MSE rules. All posts on this charities board should show a registered charity link and be sone via a third party like ' just giving.' I'll leave the thread but i have referred it.
