Not at all maria, I'm glad you said as the cardie I had in mind is lacey and wholey too. I'll just knit it up plain now I know that. Having done loads of knitting I haven't knitted for prem babies before I can't imagine how tiny they are.0 -
Hello x
I am so sorry to hear about your loss - I would really like to help but I don't have anything like this in my house - I could send you some ball of wool - if you PM me your address. But I had this idea that maybe you could contact your local John lewis / Haberdashery and ask them for there spare materials. I am sure that they would be really helpful as this is a topic which makes most of us feel like we wish we could help.
Good Luck

Count me in Maria let me have your address, pm, and I will post some stuff off. I have some nursey designed flannel fabric but not sure if you can use it due to fire regs, would make lovely blankets for cribs. I don't have huge pieces but perhaps you could sew them together for a quilt. Let me know if you can use some. Can you enquire at local hospital if you can use flannel then I can let you have some.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

sethsgran - hi, thank you so much i will send you my address immediatly, for the instructions i have been gien it says you can use flannel fabric for the baby wraps, which are used for babies who are born around 24 weeks as there skin is so delicate that they cant be dresses so flannel would be great, and they are only 20" sqaure so not alot of fabric is used in each one
thanks again for your support,
