Hi Maria,
I too can't believe its October already - where has the time gone?
Its good to have Christmas on the mind early, better to get all sorted now so come November/December you are not wondering around Bluewater or Lakeside not knowing what to buy people, and buying them any old present just because after 5 hours you are sooo fed up walking round and around. Or is it just me who does things like that? lol
Sounds good a bargain from Hotdeals for the battery charger and batteries, the amount batteries cost.
The Next Christmas catalogue was delivered yesterday - had a flick through but had to stop myself looking properly and as would just want to buy everything. The Christmas decs are just gorgeous.
Have a great weekend! The very best things in life ... are free!

OH isnt feeling too well so im bored at home. I just took a cardi and bra i bought from Asda the other day back so got £14 back on my card. But i still have the denim leggings to take back as i changed them for a diiferent size and which are to big so cant win. And also some Next shoes that i bought in the sale which are too tight! Im not sure they give refunds for sale items though? :S
I had a £7 spend on an Asthma pump today alsoDamn perscriptions! But as its getting cold my asthma always seems to get worse so ive stocked up.

I hope your OH feels better soon. Perscription charges are annoying, I have asthma as well and mine always gets worse when it gets colder. I hate getting bad colds because I usually end up on steroids and antibiotics for the asthma which is expensive. Flu jabs must be coming up soon, can't wait for that lol. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470

Hi Maria,
Have you thought about getting a 3/4 monthly or annual pre paid prescription card? I am asthmatic as well and I get an annual prescription card and it saves me so much money each year.
Nichelette, my Doctor's surgery are holding an open clinic next Saturday for the Flu jagI am going along even although I am totally petrified of needles
My Asthma plays up when I get a cold or as the seasons start to change as well, so I am bracing myself for it too!0 -
Is worth a try on the shoes from Next. They might gove you a voucher or something if they won't refund you money. Or if not maybe try them on Ebay.0

At least you're going Palema, it's much better than getting ill
. Luckily I don't mind needles too much but I'd rather get it done than not. I've only ever had proper flu once when I was 15 but I hadn't had the jab then and it was horrible so I'd rather not repeat it!

My asthma isnt too bad only when im around cats, dust or stinking air freshners i get short of breath! lol, and the cold air of course! I dont have the flu jab, i was suppose to go to the asthma clinic a while back but didnt bother. :S
Lucky the doctor made a mistake on my pescription for the blue inhlare last time and i got 8 inhalers for just £7!!!! Result! haha. Im only on my 2nd one so have plenty left to last me months!
Its just the preventer the brown one as they expire after 3 months, i only ever get this one for the winter months. So i dont bother with the pescription card, but after they run out i may think of doing this. Cheers pamela.
Im silly for not trying the Next shoes on, but they were pumps were i wouldnt wear any socks with them. i didnt want to try them on barefoot, although im sure they probably would of had them little pull on tight socks but i didnt ask. I just grabbed them as they were on sale! lol, I will pop up there 2mox and see.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Afternoon,
Well i think we can finally say we have seen the last of the sun for a while!! Its so cold and rainy here today, brrr!!! Which reminds me i need to have a sort out in my wardrobe, i still have all my summer clothes in there taking up too much space.
I sold 10 PS3 games for my OH yesterday on ebay, £120 made before fee's and postage deducted. Not bad! I cant believe all the buyers paid the same day as them ending! So i had to take all 10 items to be posted today, as he dont finish work until 5.30pm.
The money will come in handy for him as this week his car is going for its VIC test and MOT. All the bodywork is sorted and it looks brand new, hopefully his fixed the wheel damage properly and it will pass the test and be allowed back on the road.
I done 4 hours overtime last week which should go on this weeks wage slip.
Im not happy with my Ugg style boots i bought from Next a few weeks back! I only wore them for about 15 mins walking round Tesco and the back of the boot where its joined diggs into my heel, what a silly design! Now i have a big throbbing blister. I will have to try wearing my thick fluffy socks see if that helps.
My work friend who left because she was pregnant came in to visit us today with her 3 month old, awww how gorgeous he was! :AMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Well done on the extra money, I could do with sorting out my clothes too. Hopefully the boots will be okay with thick socks. How much longer is it til you can start looking for a house? Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470
